Default seems too easy

well its been almost 3 weeks now since i started eating clean, and working out...but it just seems like its too easy to do.....i do cardio 3 days a week now,(about 2 miles on the weight loss program,at about 3.5 speed), and then 3 days on weights(machines only right now),and i eat 6 meals a day, as close to my caloric intake should be that i can get ..with all good fats, and carbs...

im losing weight although at this point its not a crazy amount..but ive gon from 318 to 308..so its exciting....is there something else i should be doing...becaus ethis just seems far to simple

the list is long.

the list of variables of what could be causing a plateau. trying to find which is the variable or element thats kicking your ass is the hard part for some of us.

one piece of advice .... dont forget to enjoy life while you're trying to figure it out. makes it a little easier to deal with it.

It possibly is too easy, whats your calorie consumption? I met some guy on Atkins taking in 2300, I'm thinking to myself, are you sure you are trying to lose weight?

how intense are your lifting sessions?
those are never supposed to be "easy".

lift heavier, lift harder.
my one regret was slacking on this.

im eating about 2700 calories a day, my lifting sessions right now are on machines and let see legs im doing about 80-90 ounds 2sets 8-12 reps, i think theres three different leg machines, arms im doing from 65-90 depending on which machine smae amount of reps and sets.......its not that lifting the weight is just easy i mean when im finishing up my muscles are fatigue...what im saying is this plan seems to come easy enough, and i would have thought that it would come alot harder as much as people seem to struggle with weight loss

heres wha im eating..ive changed my menu about 20 times but htis one seems easy to stick with

900am- kashi,w/soymilk, two morning star ssg patties
1030am an apple
1230pm tuna on whole wheat, spinach salad with mushrooms, vinegarette dressing, handfull of grapes
230pm-vegan pepperonis about 15, 2 morningstar farms patties
4:30-Tofurkey on whole wheat, handful of almonds, and a random raw veggie(usually cucumber or a orange pepper)
6:30: edamame and 2 mornigstar patties
830-900 a piece of fish(salmon tuna halibut, orange roughy, and steamed vegetables

Congrats.

You may have just jinxed yourself.

It gets harder once your body figures out what you are doing.

2700 calories? Sir, I can gain weight on 2700 calories! Try don't you cut that to 1500? ... 2000 even. 2700 is a HIGH NUMBER. I can't even count that high on my fingers.

Agreed about the plateatu. I have to do cardio 7 times a week and weights 4 times a week and eat perfect just about every day to lose any more fat. It sucks

a 300+ pound male eating only 1500 calories?!?!??! Now that's a good way to plateau. I think he's doing great, with plenty of room to cut calories off later. I lose weight on 1500 cals, and I'm a 120-something # female.

He won't plateua for a long time. His leptins levels stay high since he's so pleasantly plump
