Power outage in texas

The power went out in huntsville texas and 8 other counties around the area, no reason as to why though.

Yea, im about 2 blocks from death row in huntsville so it sucks! the power is finally back on after about a 2 or so hours. It was odd because EVERYTHING was out.. even buildings that normally have back up generators were out! the entire campus was out, hell, even WALMART was out!

We drove to 1960 and 45 to get some food at bennigans since thats the closest place that was open! it was 930 and a 30-45 min wait! everyone was coming down from conroe and the woodlands and shit like that.. ok, i've said enough.. im going to bed!

my boyfriend is in conroe. he called me at around 7:00 all pissed off because the power was out so the gas stations were closed and he couldn't buy his cigarettes, lol. once he realized how widespread the outage was, he had to go back to work and keep an eye on the computers. on the upside, the company he works for has a backup generator, so there was air conditioning in part of the building. quite a few of the tech guys came over, trying to make sure the servers didn't go down from overheating. he was at work until around 2:00am.

it was crazy how many counties some messup in willis effected. i'm in harris, so i didn't have to deal with it, thank goodness.
