Default Heart Rate / Calories?

Howdy! Is the amount of calories you burn, based mostly on your heartrate during an activity or is it completely different with each activity no matter your heartrate. For instance, if I swim for 30 minutes at my 80% HR, will I burn the same amount of calories if I run for 30 Minutes at my 80% HR. Thanks a mil!
