Default Healthy Tortilla chips...

This may have been repeated...but a good and flavorful substitute for tortilla chips is to take whole wheat flour tortillas, or whole wheat pitas, an cut them up into triangle shapes....place them on a baking sheet and lightly brush them with olive oil(optional)_....and bake them at 350 for 7-10 minutes or until slightly crispy. Another good touch is to sprinkle on some sodium free mexican seasoning......Dip them in your favorite fresh salsa.....

Do they come out crispy? Do they come out crispy even without the olive oil?

Definitely have to try this....

Can you post a picture of what they look like? Sounds good. I use to love tortilla chips but haven't had them in over 5 weeks.

My wife brought home to me last night a brand of tortilla chips called "Guiltless Gourmet". Which are baked and unsalted.

Serving 18 Chips
110 cal
1g Fat
0g Sat Fat
26mg Sodium
22g Carbs
2g Dietary Fiber
2g Protein

Taste pretty good.
