Won't help you lose fat, but will increase your endurance by 5-7% over time and make your muscle look slightly 'fuller.' I take 5g in PW shake regardless of current diet.

Creatine will help you most in endurance/strength gains.

So more endurance, the more fat you burn right?

creatine will help volumize and fill muscle cell tissue with water. this will alow more nutrients, such as protein and carbs to be stored in the muscle.

bottom line, you will build bigger and stronger muscle's with creatine. stronger muscles = more lean mass

more lean mass = faster basal metabolic rate = more efficient fat burning capabilities

Default Bloating

Some people take creatine while they're losing weight to keep their strength up while they work out, since it is vital to keep lifting heavy all the time, instead of that high rep, low weight bull$#$. As a result however, some people get bloated and their muscles look puffy as a result of the 5+ lbs of extra water weight that they're carrying around.

It's for that same reason that some people cut creatine out when they're getting ripped, because taking it out helps you lose a couple lbs of water weight really quick.

My personal opinion is stay on creatine the whole time while you're cutting, then take out creatine after you're done with that phase to get really ripped. That way, your strength stays high, and, when you're done, you're as ripped as the guy who cut it out while he was dieting. (Plus you might end up with a tad more muscle too)

Hi Chad, taking creatine while on fat loss diet is fine as long as you do not combine it with other fat loss supplements like ECA or any diurectic stuff as these will contradict the creatine effect.

Default Oh yeah

Stuff like ephedra and a lot of other stimulants counteract creatine.

Ephedra, while jacking you up with energy, also constricts blood vessels. Lots of other stimulants do the same thing. Creatine, volumizes..So you can kinda see how they work against each other

Do these also counteract taking creatine as a strength building supplement? I want to get stronger, but would like to burn a few more pounds of fat that just aren't coming off with the 4-5 cardio workouts I am doing per week.

rmbr, any product that causes dehydration or remove excess water fm yr body will counteract with creatine. :db:

How long have you been working out?

If you are just starting out I would suggest that you don't use creatine and just supplement with whey for now. Once you have lost a some of the weight you wanted to loose then supplement with creatine.

Beginners should only use whey to start off (6 months at least) You will see good results from the whey then add creatine and it should work very well.

Dont forget you need to cycle creatine as well.

Oops, I've been taking an herbal ephedra supp while on creatine.

I still have seen some benefits from the creatine however. Also, I dont take over the recommended dose and most days I only take one dose(of the herbal ephedra)

I really like creatine so far. I was worried that I might get a bunch of bloating from it but so far I havent noticed any. I might be retaining a little water weight in my muscles since I noticed my weight is kind of static despite being low cal.

Right now I'm doing the ECA stack thing for fat loss. Also, I take Whey Protien 3 times a day, and I mix with it a Glutamine, also 3 times a day. I take 3 omega 3, 6,9's, and Glucosamine sulfate pills 3 times as well. Are any of these counter acting each other? I guess I will continue the ECA stack until I run out and then start on the Creatine.
Any comments about my plan?
Thank you
