I have my shake by about 8:10-8:15, and I'm in bed by 9. So I don't have much time for a meal Should I be doing a PWO shake and a meal? If I did it at the sam etime it would be possible, however, I wouldn't be able to stay up past 9.

Experimentation is the key. A lot of people rant about getting the protien back into your muscles post-workout and how you should always eat before - but I do fasted cardio in the mornings and rarely eat anything within an hour of working out and I haven't passed out or lost any strength doing this.
The one thing I would suggest is mixing up something into or having something along with the shake in the evenings - course that has a lot to do with your goals - you trying to cut or to bulk? (With the cardio you mention I'm assuming cutting) - I try to have a 60/40 split of carbs to protein as my last meal of the day. (Protien shake and a banana for example)
In the end - it boils down to what you can handle energy-wise and what the overall day breakdown macro-nutrient wise and calories.

Yup, agree with the previous post, "Experimenting is the key". If you feel that you're not too hungry before going to bed, then I think the potein shake is ok, and in fact maybe, I said maybe promote fat loss. But don't force yourself to sleep in a starving situation. Just remember to listen to your body, if you're hungry, then eat. If you're sleepy than sleep

Oh yeah, that's even more important than thinking what you'll have for dinner
