Default new album U2

Curious if anyone has picked it up. I'm a huge fan and quite like it although it's not getting the greatest reviews. Wondering if anyone else has an opinion.

I have it and I like it.

Also, you're correct - its not their best. However, even a subpar U2 effort is better than most bands out there.

Got it- have everything by U2. I was at Red Rocks in 1983! Heh... even sang U2 covers in highschool with a garage band...

I like Vertigo but the rest of the album... well, some tunes will grow on me but as a whole, it's a muddy effort. 8 different producers, and it shows... some of the mixes are noisy... Bono's voice is sounding a bit tired... but I agree: average U2 kicks butt. All that You can't Leave Behind was a great album.

One of the vertigo singles has a new song and lanois and eno produced on it.....it's really good, quite "old school" U2. For a couple of bucks it's definitely worth it for the extra track. I think it's the red one....not the grey colored one.
