You don't need to start eating in the changing room. That's a bit over the top. But how long would you have to wait to get your next meal? If it's under 30-40 mins, I think you'll be okay. Nutrient timing is far less important than actually getting the correct amount of calories and protein at the end of the day. If you're really worried, you can bring a shaker bottle w/ a half-scoop of protein to "tide you over" until your next meal.

A couple of quick suggestions:
1. a quality protein bar (although, this is similar, if not inferior to a shake)
2. Nuts
3. Fruit
4. Piece of cheese
5. chicken or chicken salad (or any leftovers) in a Tupperware container.
6. Greek yogurt
7. Some veggies and dip
8. Any combination of the above
