Huge difference between the first and third like said in the previous post. Would of thought it took alot longer than it did to increase in size that much.

Keep in mind that I've been this big before (actually a little bigger). I lost a lot of size in the first three quarters of 2008, and muscle memory is what's allowing me to put the muscle I lost back on pretty quickly. In actuality it took me years of hard work to get my arms this big.

I noticed this too... No shirt, vest, t-shirt... but, he has been doing extra traps work hasn't he? Maybe he's just waiting for the right time to show them off properly?

It's been cold here the past couple of days (below freezing overnight, which is cold for us), so that's why I was wearing a T-shirt.
This comparison shot is less than two weeks old and does a pretty good job of showing my delts/traps progress...

Jaw dropping progress. Unreal, even with the added benefit of muscle memory.
I hope everyone is paying attention to these photos, 'cause this is what it's all about. Despite having a setback, John is better than ever now because of his determination and discipline. An inspiration to all natty lifters.

Wow, thanks very much, everyone!
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end: in 30 minutes time I'll be heading into the gym for my final "2008" bulking workout. On one hand I'm sad that my bulk is ending because I've enjoyed the experience so much, but on the other hand I'm very excited about getting ripped up for the summer and working with Mastover again! I can't wait to see how all this new muscle looks once I melt the fat away.

If I remember right, John did send the footage in and the guy did end up getting fired.

Three more personal records just fell!
My 2008 bulk is over. About all I can say at this point is "Whew!"
Thanks for the support and encouragement you all have given me along the way. I couldn't have done this alone.
Here's one final delts/traps photo (I didn't mean to snarl):
It's a wrap. On to the next goal!

Honestly if I didn't know you the whole steroids think would be tempting to say considering your progress. Probably the best natural bulk I've ever seen, congrats John on once again managing to inspire and motivate so many people, all while bettering yourself. One day

On the surface it certainly does seem incredibly hard to believe that this was a natural bulk--I'll be the first to admit that. However if you look at my complete training history and the progress I've made over the past six years, it becomes clear that the muscle I have now took me many, many years to build. I lost a lot of size in 2008, but it came back relatively quickly; this definitely made for a dramatic bulk. I'm not saying it was easy (actually--and pardon my french--it was really fucking hard), but with four months of 100% dedication to my program and single-minded focus, I was able to get back what I lost through about a year of neglect.
I joked to Lisa that I should run a few cycles of steroids just so people would see the incredible gains and be like, "Damn, I guess he was telling the truth!"
Seriously, I can't ever see myself using steroids, growth hormones, prohormones or anything like that. I am who I am today because I got off drugs, and I made a commitment to myself to maintain a healthy lifestyle for the rest of my life. Using illicit drugs of any kind would be the biggest mistake of my life, and I'm not going down that road ever again.
Know this: I swear on my life, the life of my wife and the lives of my two dogs that I have never used any type of steroid, growth hormone, etc. in my entire life.
To those who still doubt me, there's not much I can do but keep my steroid drug test challenge going for anyone who wants to take me up on it.
Natural for life.
