Just a quick tip for brown rice you need more water than you do for white rice. That may be why it came out dry. I cook brown rice in a rice cooker and even after reheating the leftovers on later days it's not dry at all. I use Mahatma Brown Rice in the bag it tastes great I find a lot of other brands to taste starchy even if I wash the rice first.

I've been using this rice for the past few months. It's great 'cause it comes parboiled so you don't have to cook it for an hour or so like normal brown rice. I cook 3 dry cups at a time

Thanks. My shoulders are improving, but are still not in proportion with my arms. Work remains to be done.

That shot looks like you are using your ultra-manly physique to force an early sunset.

Hahaha. He was actually reversing time to save a puppy that was tragically killed earlier in the day.

Just had a chance to check out your home cinema tours properly.

I am currently working on my own home cinema setup and love the idea of the movie trivia thing you have going before the film, with backing tracks from films playing (i got the film soundtrack from your video pretty quick ). Did you make this yourself, or can i buy such a disc? How much trivia is on it, does it get repetitive ? (obviously i would probably only play it when we have guests). Is it just text questions, or does it have movie facts / celeb scrambled anagrams / pics with guess which film this is from / quotes etc?

Any help or advice greatly taken, i think it would be a great addition to my set up (which is coming on all the time ). Nothing in comparison to yours of course, i would love something like that. great job.

Unfortunately 20th Century Fox forced Youtube to remove Part III of my tour. They did this because I dared to show about one minute of the opening credits from "Horton Hears a Who" while I was demoing my theater. I contested the claim, and even after a manual review Fox demanded that the video be removed. As I wrote in reply to a comment on another one of my videos, I understand the need for Copyright holders to protect their intellectual rights, but this is ridiculous. I was clearly just demonstrating my theater.

Anyway, I'll stop ranting. I'll be making another video to replace that one this weekend. I'll use a movie from a studio that isn't so idiotic.

I author the DVDs myself. I've made a a few so far. I got the actual slides (there are hundreds, maybe thousands) from a guy on the avsforum, and then used DVD authoring software to create the slideshow programs with music. The guy who does the slides is offering them for cheap: $7.00 for 4 gigs worth. Here's the thread.

Yeah, the slideshows have all kinds of stuff from movie facts, trivia, public service announcements ("No talking during the feature" type stuff) and so on...

I managed to watch Part 3 first, so saw that intro, it was nothing, i cant believe they have done that !!! If anything, that was a great advert for their show, as the picture looked amazing, as did their animation. Some people.

Thanks for the link, i will PM the guy next week and get him to send them over. Should be able to get a slideshow DVD made, cant be too hard. Add some music, and i am away !!!!

I think i will steal your idea for a second DVD player to play the slide show as well, then i can just switch inputs on my AV unit then press play and start the film.

Thanks for your help John. I will post the finished article on the forums when its all done, just got to add a sub and a blue ray player then i am done !!

He doesn't need to reverse time to do that, he simply rubs his beard on the deceased puppy, instantly bringing it back to life.

Does the red glow around John in the sunset pic remind anyone else of Sho' Nuff, the Shogun of Harlem? Or am I the only fan of 1980s kung-fu disco movies?

I have "The Last Dragon" on DVD.

I only put the glow around me to hide my poor cropping abilities.

Amusingly, I never really fancied watching that film until I saw part III of your tour, at which point I looked with child-like wonder at my wife and said "Oh man, we've gotta rent that!"

Tonight's workout was excellent, and a good end to a tough week of training!

I took a relaxed straight-on photo of my delts tonight. The flash was not kind to me, so the contrast is a little screwed up.

You can also see my delts from the side in the mirror.

Yeah, another guy commented on youtube that he went out and bought the damn thing after seeing my clip.

Fox just doesn't get it. What's really annoying is I'm probably one of their best customers.
