John,
I agree with your prior statement that next month will be your best photos yet. This new diet and your regimen seem to be working wonders!
With that said, I can't seem to find a place where you mention what you do for your abs. Are you using a lot of weighted exercises?

Ha, my sister got married on the same weekend, but one year later on May 20th, 1995. I just sent her a Happy Anniversary text.
Same to you!
I get married in August, 8/8/08. I guess 8 will be our new lucky number. I'm so excited to get married, but people keep asking me weird questions like "Are you nervous?" or "Are you scared?" or "Is it coming too fast?"...basically like it's a bad day that's coming and not a good day. I dunno, for me I can't freaking wait to get married and the day is coming soooo slow. I love my fiance and can't wait to make it official and to start our lives and family together.

Congrats on 14 years John (and Lisa)! You certainly seem to have come a long way and made eachother better people by being together.
Now for the important part...when do we get to see the new car?! It better not be a SMART car.

You can't go from an AMG Mercedes to one of those....
I doubt the Smart car comes with forced induction...

So you guys all recommend DUMB cars then? Where can I get one of those?
That's not a plug for SMART cars, I don't have one...just a lame attempt at humor.

Truth!
It was on the radio the other day here in my area that dealerships are not even taking SUV trade-ins anymore.

Very cool.
So has the site traffic bumped yet? I doubt it's like a digg, but it will be interesting to see if you get forbes traffic.
Oh, and happy anniversary!

Thanks very much everyone, and happy anniversary to you and Tanisha, Rog.
Lisa and I test drove all day: Mercedes C class, BMW 128i, Audi A4 and Acura TSX.
Didn't like the Merc at all; the BMW was too small and we really wanted a four-door anyway; the Audi A4 was a tad on the small side, but 4-door and very nice styling, good power and plenty of bells and whistles; The Acura TSX was probably our favorite, and was LOADED with some really cool tech, but we just couldn't come to terms on the price and we walked. The Acura was actually 3k less than the Audi, yet they still wanted 2.5k down (on top of our trade) and more per month than the Audi. Further, the Audi was sign and drive, nothing down. On top of all that, the Acura salesperson was a jerk.
So it looks like Lisa will be getting the Audi A4 Sedan: phantom black pearl effect paint, black Nappa leather interior, walnut wood interior inlays, rain and light sensors, garage door opener, bi-xenon headlights, adaptive light package, auto-dim int/ext mirrors with electronic compass, heated outside mirrors w/power fold, heated front seats, retractable headlight washers, 17" 5-spoke alloy wheels, navigation system with 6.5" color display, 6-disc CD changer, 2 SD memory card slots, satellite radio, electrically adjustable seats, power sunroof, one touch power windows, multitronic transmission w/ paddle shifters... so much more. I think Lisa's going to really like it.

Well.... if size a concern, there is really only one way to make you happy. HEMI!!! Dodge Ram Quad cab. Or 6.1L SRT-8 Charger. Can't beat good ole muscle.
Or you can go with the 5.7 HEMI Charger and get a lifetime warranty, and save on gas with their 2.99 special they are running right now.

Nice looking ride and it does come down to what the dealer is offering sometimes.
Do you always lease? Based on need we've always been a one car family, but my daughter starts driving later and when she gets her license next year we're going to need (want) a second car. Clearly she would get use of the present vehicle (Saab 9-5 Aero wagon), but I'm beginning to think not only about what car to buy for myself but how to pay for it.
Again, congrats on your anniversary tomorrow!

Great German engineering! While I would love to have seen you in a BMW (being a BMW fanatic myself), the Audi is equally as great of a car, especially as of late since they have worked out some of the issues they had in the late 90s and beyond.
I am actually going to the Audi Driving Experience here in July...that would be a cool event for you and Lisa to hit up and learn driving techniques from the pros.
