Just thought I would introduce myself, I have been lurking on these forums for quite a while just educating myself on the wealth of information that is here!! What a great forum you guys have.
Im 20 years old, and have always been in reaasonable shape, used to be a rower in high school so that helped things out a lot and I eat only whole natural foods most of the time so my diet is not terrible.
Anyway I got married at the beginning of this year, and that seems to have put me on the slippery slope of weight gain. Im not entirely sure how the two are related but since moving in with my hubby I became super lazy and also adjusted to his style of eating which I don't think helped things either hehe. Not to mention starting full time work as a programmer (sit on my arse all day!!) Has been a huge lifestyle change and it has taken me a lot to realize that yes, you can work full time and be healthy/exercise.
He is a body builder, and has got a fantastic body. He works out at the gym a lot, and has been very supportive since I started trying to change my body a few weeks ago. However like a lot of guys is not sure on the best programme for me to be doing so I did get a programme done for me at our gym by a trainer.
I am very conscious of the fact that this has to be a lifestyle change not a quick fix diet so am trying to go about doing things the right way.. which is how I ended up here I guess!! At this stage I have been mainly focusing on exercise and I know I could make my diet a bit cleaner which I hope to address soon.
Currently im doing full body weights 3 times a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) and two long runs (11km ~ 1 hour 5 mins) on Tuesday and Thursday. I started 2 weeks ago and am already seeing the results which is definitely helping to motivate me. However I know I can do more/better which is why I am here.
Anyway thats enough for now, im sure I will be posting lots because this seems like a great supportive community!!

ETA: Here's my disturbing pics. Its obvious I carry my weight on my ass and thighs, and any help diminishing this will be much appreciated!! These were taken yesterday, approx 2 weeks into my weight training.
Oh and those bruises on my thighs are from paintball hehehe! You cant see the one on my ass cheek lol.
