My new recumbent bike came in today, and it's nice!
Assembly time was about 1.5 hours. The computer is neat, and the computer-controlled magnetic resistance is very cool. Unlike all the other bikes I've had, the hardest level of resistance is REALLY hard. I think I'm going to like this bike.
Here are a couple of pictures I took after I finished assembling it and I (briefly) tried it out.

Is there a TV in viewing range or is that just where the thing was assembled and not its final home?

I dropped off a couple old heart monitors and my camera with Andre. Theoretically He and Kenny will get VO2max estimates and then do a video about Calorie counting and complexes. I should have worked out while I was there.

Slim Pickens, a.k.a. Major Kong, captain of the plane, was not told the movie was a comedy. To save money, Peter Sellers was originally supposed to play Major Kong, but allegedly had trouble developing the Western/cowboy accent.

^^ I was thinking the same thing.
Awesome bike. I never liked bikes, but I've never tried a recumbent bike. I think I could get used to sitting in that and watching King of the Hill episodes.

AWESOME. Absolutely amazing work John. (I confess I've been sitting here hitting F5 for an hour on your front page.)
Whilst Mastover has clearly fine-tuned your diet and training with skill, it's you who has consumed the cod and tested the Titan and you should be rightly proud of yourself.
It's been a fun journey to watch this year but I wonder if someone had told you back in 2003 that you'd be here now whether you would've believed them (or even cared that your life would take this direction).
Enjoy that pizza tonight. You've earned every bite.

Congratulations John, truly awesome!! Just what I need to get my July 100 Challenge off to a great start. I think that you've now crossed over to the "other side" of physiques where you are actually fitness model calibre. Enjoy the pizza and wine, man... you've definitely earned it!

I'm blown away by your pictures today John. You honestly do look like a totally different person, again!
Congratulations on your success, you definitely deserve it!

Wow, I can't believe you've essentially done your initial transformation all over again. Only 10 times harder this time around as you had 30 more pounds of muscle to preserve while you did it. That is just amazing. What an inspiration to me and anyone wanting to transform themselves. I remember thinking in January that perhaps you were being reactionary when you said you wanted to hit 6%, and I had thought you maybe didn't really think about how hard it would be. But Wow. I'm completely amazed.

John, you look absolutely phenomenal. You can definitely be proud of what you've accomplished (again). I love the tank top shot, by the way.
