Woody's Update
It's been a while since I have posted an update, so here goes:
Weight has stayed the same=156lbs. But I think there is improvement. I want to ask a few things of ya'll: body fat guesstimate and your opinions on if I should continue cutting or begin a bulk? On to the pics!
Current shots:
This is 2 months ago:
And my oh so lovely very close to beginning picture: August 2005: (about 1.5-2 months into my transformation)

Great work!
I might maintain for a brief bit, then start to bulk.

Alright! You saw the light and headed towards it. Great! Don't go back ever again.
Stay there for awhile and then bulk when ready. Maintain

Great transformation!! What was your starting weight? After seeing transformations like this it reallly gives me hope that I can lose a signifcant amount of weight and still look good with my shirt off.
I would suggest doing a slow clean bulk until you are happy with your size.

And nice ink

Mate, this is a very impressive transformation!
If I were you I would eat at just above maintenance and do a very slow, clean bulk.
You have come a very long way in a year - great effort!
Have you been following SGX for the entire year?

*NOTE* I screwed up the description on my starting picture. That was actually about 2 months into it..so not really theorectically my starting date. Close enough though...right?
Foley-thanks! yeah...I think I may look into SUP2 for my bulk. we'll see. i am definately digging the lean look rather than the yoked look. we'll see.
MannishBoy-thank you! I know I have some fatty spots left that are going to be hell to get rid of completely (the infamous love handles and lower belly fat..ggrrr) maintaining sounds good i think....just until all that crap is gone.
rtestes-yes, I did see the light and yes.. I am NEVER going back. thanks for the kind words.
danboback-starting weight was right around 230lbs. I was HUGE. hehe. and thank you!!!!
kismocles-much appreciated! as for the ink...the bottom latin phrase was my tribute to myself..it means "this is forever/eternal" and is a constant reminder to me that I will never go back to that look, lifestyle and insanely pessimistic outlook on life.
groomy-I have been on SGX for about 6 months. thank you as well for the kind words.
tree, Zoetastic, #91-thank you thank you!!

I've got that low belly fat problem myself and am trying to decide what to do. I'm most likely to start gradually adding back calories and transitioning into more strength/hypertrophy work for a few month (ie slow bulk). Your abs are more defined than mine are, though You're probably a percent or two lower BF.
I'm just feeling skinny and think it will be easier in my case to get rid of the last bit of belly fat next time with some more LBM.
I also suspect that maintaining for a bit then gradually upping calories might make it easier for the metabolism to transition without putting on as much fat at the start, but that's just a suspicion.

MannishBoy-yeah thats what im having trouble wraping my mind around...bulking to gain LBM to fill out the loose skin. ive been cutting so long that it will be hard to eat that much more and know im getting bigger...albeit bigger in a good way, but still bigger. lol
jaydfwtx-THANK YOU!
MH-UK-haha thank you as well! much appreciated.

mriedel-thanks! I am 5'6" and a half!! LOL. dont forget the .5" yes...im a shorty...and wish all the time that I was at least 5'9"..but its all good. good things come in small packages. hehe. *just keep telling yourself that...*
keegie2005-you're not alone...haha yes I do it all of the time when I forget where I came from. kind of sucks however though....as none of my old, past friends recognize me. they freak out when I come up to them and know their name, etc..and they have no clue who I am. hhahah...thanks for the kind words.
