Hey, John, I haven't complimented you yet on your absolutely outstanding bulking progress. So thumbs up for you. I wonder where are your limits. Looks like they are out of this world.
Anyway, I also wanted to throw a little comment here about yesterday's update. You said that you first add water to your shaker and then you add the powders after reseting the scale. I think doing it in this way you might be measuring a different amount of protein-dextrose that intended. When something is inside a fluid it weights less (Arquimedes dixit). So you might be getting more calories than thought (it's like weighting yourself inside a swimming pool). Nothing wrong with that, since whatever you do, man, it's working wonders, but I thought I would give you the head ups.
Your dogs are absolutely adorable.

AHH!! The duck! I noticed the toy-duck for the dog in the picture. Does that one quack, too? Our dog had one, but he chewed it apart and pulled the quacker out of it, then chewed that apart. Can't say I'm sorry it's gone; the thing was annoying after awhile!

This would only apply if the weight of the powder was assessed from within the water bath. Think for a moment, if you took a bathtub and filled it with water- then measured the weight of the tub with water in it. Enter the tub- what will the scale show? Answer: it will show the previous weight+ your real weight. However, if you placed a waterproof scale on the bottom of the tub- inside it- and sat on it, your "Arquimedes dixit" is true and applicable.

Thanks, Cziffra. I think most people never even come close to reaching their true maximum potential. I know I'm nowhere near mine! I think "personal limits" are mostly created in the mind.

Haha! Loki is such a sweet dog that he rarely bites any of his toys hard enough to make them "activate". He licks them and nibbles them gently, and is very protective over them. I think he thinks they are his little puppies. If he ever accidentally bites a toy hard enough to make it "talk", he drops it, cocks his head and gets this pathetic wounded look on his face. As soon as the toy quiets down, he starts licking it as if to say "sorry!". Turtle, on the other hand, is known to go through even the toughest toys in less than a day. Her teeth are like needles, and she'll attack them as if her life was being threatened.

My dog (Welsh terrorist) fits the category of 'toy destroyer'. He recently impaled a brand new stuffed turtle in about 5 minutes. The doggietoystorelady said that the turtle was 'indestrucible'. Terriers are very good at this.

It's not a question of how it grips it, it's a simple matter of weight ratio, a five ounce swallow can't carry a 5 pound coconut.
Oh and awesome back double bi shot there, John. your rear delts are now gigantic.

Excellent delts/traps workout tonight, but it didn't start off that way...
... my first exercise was barbell military press, and I did the exact same reps and weight as last week. On the last set I tried so hard to get just one more rep in, but my arms literally gave out on me, and I was saved by the safety spotters.
Things got much better after that. I hit more reps on my seated DB side raises than last week, more reps and more weight on my bent over DB lateral raises, and more reps and weight on my barbell upright rows (I decided to do them this one last time, but I won't be doing them anymore due to shoulder injury concerns).
On the subject of my rear delts: I'll be moving up in weight again next week on my bent over DB laterals. My rear delts seem to be responding VERY well to my training and are getting stronger at an impressive rate.
I went up in weight and reps on my DB shrugs. My traps are really burning right now.
Shoulders feel great - no pain!
Here are a couple of shots that show my delts and traps development, and a front "arms out" pose, just because. I had a nice pump going in my delts and traps, but not much in my arms in these shots. I'm very happy with the progess I've made with my delts and traps, but not even close to satisfied. There's still a lot of work to be done!
BTW, my arms are 16.75 inches (cold, no pump) as of this morning! I fully expect to hit the 17 inch mark (cold) and 18.25 inches (pumped) by the end of December. Perhaps by the end of my bulk (January 31st) they'll be 17.5+ inches cold, and close to 19 inches with a pump. That'd be beyond what I expected, and just fine with me!
Here are tonight's photos...

Hey John, just saw your pics....good lord you're getting big. By now your inbox must be flooded with steroid abuse claims..ha ha. But here at JSF we know that the real secret behind those gains is hard work and unbelievable dedication. Anyway, I was looking at some of your earlier pics and logs and I have two questions for you:
a) I noticed in the beginning you were eating very little.....even less than 1500 calories. You've said before that this was a mistake, but I'm just curious how you were able to overcome all of your cravings. I mean, I can honestly say that when it comes to training, I can give it my all but dieting is always an issue. I'm just curious in knowing how you dealt with hunger pangs and stuff like that. I remember when I ate that little (I tried bout a year ago and realized it didnt work too well) I would always be grumpy and depressed and thinking bout food all the time.
b) I noticed in the earlier pictures you had body hair. I was wondering what kind of process you go through to remove that hair.
c) Have you ever thought of creating a Book or DVD? By now I would say you have more knowledge and helpful advice than many of the self-proclaimed gurus out there.

Actually it's not too bad lately. I think most people have come to "know" me over the years, and realize that I wouldn't touch any of that stuff. I do get one or two accusations each week, but 95% of those appear to be written by crackheads with ADD, so I just laugh and move on.

It's all mental. I was so focused and into what I was doing that cravings were not an issue. Anything that didn't further my progress might as well have been radioactive - I really didn't want it.

Razor and shaving cream. Sometimes (like when I'm bulking) I let my leg hair go for a few months. When that happens I use "Nair For Men" the first time and then keep the hair gone with a razor every couple of weeks.

Sure, those are both things I've thought about. Right now I'm busy with other projects, but I'm always working on those kinds of things in my head. One day the time will be right and I'll stop thinking about it and do it.

I heard alot of people experience negative results with Nair. How has your experience been with this product? BTW I hope you're not getting the idea that im some sick pervert interested in your body hair lol. Im interested because I have alot of hair, specifically on my chest and legs that I'de like to get rid of. I cant imagine shaving my chest though...im pretty sure ide have stubble the next day as that is the case with my face.

John: Is that a Titanic style pose in the last picture?
Stallion: Unless you have fine hairs then shaving or hair removal creams won't help the stubble.
