Default 6 Months and got so far.. frustrated. what next?

Hi Guys,

This is my first time posting here although I've been surfing these forums for a while.

Here is my story. Im in university and I always worked out, mostly weight training but was on and off. Once during final exam month I stopped working out all together and my diet turned into a daily frenzy of pizza hut, harveys hamburgers with poutine and mayo and a bunch of pop. My weight soared up to 210 from 190 pounds in about a month and a bit. BTW im about 6'2"-6'3".

After that I decided to finally get serious. I slowly changed my diet to what it is now which mostly whole wheat carbs, lots of fruits and vegetables, skim milk, no mayo, whey proteinm, etc... all the good stuff.

I also slowly changed my workout to be more consistent to about 4-5 days a week. At first I lost a lot of weight and after about 3 months I went down to 190 pounds. And I had my BF% go down to 14.9%.

I kept this up for another month and my BF% went down only to 14.7%. So I got really frustrated and I changed my cardio to 6 days a week with 3 days of hard invertal training and 3 days of medium pace runs. I also was doing 4 weightraining workouts per week of 2 muscles per day that were pretty intense at 3 sets each. Along with this I also lowered my daily intake to between 2000-2500 or less calories per day, although I wasnt really counting the calories very well.

So after one more month (about 3 1/2 months into training) I weighed myself again and I had lost a bunch more weight and I was at about 182 pounds with a BF of 11.5% (Although I really think the machines was off). I kept this up and my weight even got down to 175 pounds at a point.

Now, a couple of months later, I cant seem to keep going down. Although I can almost see my abs (my ultimate goal) I still have a decent layer of fat on it that (although I can sorta see my upper abs them when I flex). Also, I think that my BF% stayed the same and is not changing much. So I tried following the ab diet and eating 6 small meals a day but controlling my diet so much makes me even more hungry. And my appetite is huuuuge lately.
Also, I am getting really tired of so much cardio.

I now tried to properly measure my calories and keep them under 2500 per day but I feel sooooo hungry all the time. Even when the hunger goes away my mouth starts watering. I just cant keep this up. My weight even went up to about 182 calories now from 175 a couple of months ago.

Its been 6 months almost 7 and I'm just very frustrated cause i dont feel like I'm getting any more progress. Although ppl say i look skinny and u can almost see my abs I really need to completely get rid of my lovehandles and its not happening. I cant stand my cardio plan anymore and I'm always getting exhausted and overwhelmed.

Sooo.. I just decided to change my technique. I want to see if maybe I can change my focus from so much cardio and a decent amount of weight training to mostly weight training and just a bit of cardio.

I want to make this my routine: 4 days of hard weight training with 1-2 separate days dedicated fully to cardio (30-45 minutes). I also want to change my food habit to just sticking to my healthy food but eating as much as my hunger asks for (prolly nicely over 3200 cals per day).

I think if I do this I might bulk up and keep my BF% about the same and once I have much more build I can then try cutting again and lower the fat much faster. I mean, I'm already relatively well built, but If I do this maybe I can get a lot bigger and the fat will sorta melt by itself? LOL.

What do you guys think? I just feel really stuck and frustrated and I'm not sure how to go about it.

Sorry the post is so long!!! Just had to get all this off my chest and get some opinion!!!

THANKS !!!
