Default Elbows painful when doing triceps the MAX-OT way

I've been doing MAX-OT for two months now, first one month on the total gym, which doesn't really count, since you can's lift that heavy on it, and then another month using real weights after I got my bench.

Lately I've noticed that my elbows are hurting when I do my triceps, especially when doing french curls. Lowering the weight so I can do 10-15 reps really helps though, so I'm wondering if I should switch my entire program over to a 10-15 rep range for a month or so, and then gradually increase to MAX-OT again and see if it feels better then.

Any other suggestions? I defnitely want to avoid injuries this early. I'm getting really good results so far and don't want it to stop now

Does stretching help to prevent injuries? I haven't been doing that a whole lot... Maybe I should?
