VEGAS BABY!!

if anyone can swing it a few of us are meeting up in vegas in december (2009).

iroc and the mrs., kali and myself, and lsc are all staying on the north strip.

rooms are really cheap with the economy in this state.... and it gives ya a full 6 month to save up some spending money.

we'll be there dec 7-10.... and i think iroc's staying til the 11th.

just thought i'd throw that out there.

its gonna be a good time. no doubt!

we're not all staying in the same one. that's the beauty of vegas.

but so far we're all booked at the north end of the strip.

now I could do that. (can you say cheap, 1hr flight?) no guarantee though, there is a chance I will need to be in NM that weekend, i won't know till October.

We're staying at the Sahara. Over the years we've stayed at a bunch of different places on the strip, with Treasure Island being our favorite - but this time the Sahara gave us a deal we couldn't pass up.

I'm definitely excited about this opportunity. I've never been to Vegas, and I've always wanted to go. And December is perfect timing.

I won't have any vacation time, so I'd have to ask for special permission, which I don't want to do until at least I'm back from the summer vacation they allowed me.

I'd also have to consider whether we would bring the kids, or whether we would be better off to see if my mom could arrange to fly here to watch the kids, which could add considerable expense.
