Default Oh, yes they can!

That is Bob Doyle, a good friend of mine. I actually witnessed his transformations - he's done a few.

What a lot of people don't realize is that the very last 5 - 10 pounds can be the "deal-breaker" in physique transformation. Literally, you get to a pound where every day you see changes because that last bit of fat that was obscuring the muscle definition melts away.

Bob has brought us an awesome site where we can see tons of amazing transformations from other people ... and HEAR how they did it! Several years ago, he started interviewing others who had made tremendous progress and posted the interviews to his site. You can browse through all of that inspirational material here:

http://www.bodychangers.com/

I use that site often to juice up my motivation and get rocking!

Jeremy

I would say it's a mix. It's a mix of the fact that that dude has done some serious efforts and also to the fact of light when it comes to the pictures. The light is totally different and way more for his advance in the second picture.

Body fat loss is obviously visable, but he had no real muscle size. To lose that bosy fat, as you say, is possible over three months. But i wouldnt want to just be skinny, id rather be at body fat 8% and actually have some muscle. For me, muscle and strength is all important, and a really skinny person looks just as unheathly as a really overweight person. I think less than 6 can look unhealthy, most people in these forums strive for 7-8, thats much better !

I wouldnt want to look like that guy, amazing though his transformation may be. He doesnt look strong, he doesnt look healthy. IM Humble O of course.

calculate out his stats, and you see the following ::

175 lbs @ 9.9% bodyfat = 17.3 lbs of fat and 157.6 lbs of muscle
160 lbs @ 5% bodyfat = 8 lbs of fat, and 152 lbs of muscle.

Over the course of his 2 month transformation, he LOST 5.6 pounds of lean body mass, aside from his fat mass loss. Seems his diet was not optimal to help maintain LBM while cutting. Had he kept that extra 5.6 lbs, or even GAINED 2 lbs or 3 lbs of LBM, he would look more built.

Make no mistake, his transformation is awesome, but his legs need more mass and his traps are uneven.
