chicken breasts
ok ok ive searched pretty much everywhere for this and i cant find an answer still...Im trying to find a breakdown for an average sized boneless skinless chicken breast (4oz, size of a deck of cards what have you) On fitday they are saying theres like some 183 calories, 4 g fat, 0 g carbs, and 34g protein. To me i think thats a little high for protein count and a little low for calorie count...Does anyone have a good calculation for the macro's on a chickenbreast? And calorieking has a different breakdown on top of that...anyone got the right answer?

100g of chicken breast (hmm breast...)
106 kcals
24 - Protein
0 - Carbs
1 - Fat

dang! ive been taking in like 400 less cals a day than i thought! i eat like 4 breast per day and i was always counting them as 260 calories lol. Well these numbers seem good to me guys, thanks. Now im off to eat some more lol. But seriously only a 106 calories? dang that seems like nothing for such a large amount of protein (and a chicken breast with veggies fills me up too) But if thats what you guys got thats what ill go with from now on.

depends on the cut of the meat, my chicken breasts are:
Description =Calories =Fat =(Sat Fat) =Carbs =(Fiber) =(Sugars) =Protein
7oz Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast =170.0 =1.0 =0.0 =0.0 =0.0 =0.0 =41.0
I do want to find lower protien chicken breasts but I dont knwo where to buy them in bulk and get lower protien and lower cals

Also make sure you weigh then AFTER you cook them. They'll reduce in weight quite a lot. Typically a 250g thawed piece of chicken is circa 200g once cooked.
Water weight strikes again!

Well you can't get chicken lower protein and lower calories, unless you eat less
But do make sure you trim all the fat off - it makes a difference.
Also - I make sure that I don't get the ones that are loaded with sodium (enhanced with broth and other seasonings.) That will affect your body as well - water retention and all.
