Too many carbs and too much alcohol has got me carrying bloat weight the last couple of weeks and it's seriously affecting my mood. Scale showed about 133-134 this morning, which is just silly; time to get some really clean eating under my belt to get a sense of true weight as I'm pretty convinced a few pounds of that is just water retention and madness and then set some goals for the rest of the summer. I'm moving house at the end...

When not paying too much attention works anyway

Hello gorgeous JSFers.

Checking in after a very long break from the forums. Life got very hectic after my last posts in December (ex boyfriend turned nutty, work got insane, it was generally Wintry) and body-change plans stalled a bit. Life got all rosy again around April and the last three months have been spent not exercising much but generally eating well and being happy. The story has a happy ending -- the weight has just dropped off the last few months. After being at about...

WEEK 1 - Dec 30 2008

Posted Tue, December 30th, 2008 at 11:16 AM by thevinery
cals: TBA
split: TBA
activity: HIIT/jogging 25 min total
lifting: TBA

Did a modified sissy HIIT workout with 7 min warmup jog, about 9 or 10 min of 10sec intervals with 15sec walking rest, 7 min jog at the end.

The plan for cardio for now is to hit 3 times per week cardio, one HIT of about 20-25 minutes, one long steady state of about 40 min (biking or jogging or gym treadmill), and one HIIT workout of about 15 minutes. Any additional biking on top of...

WEEK 1 - Dec 29 2008

Posted Tue, December 30th, 2008 at 11:12 AM by thevinery
cals: 1378
split: P29/C39/F32 Alcohol
activity: 20 min biking.

Had planned to do a longer biking session on the way home tonight but it was so bitter cold that I took the bus so only got about 20 min total. I'll bring in my extra pair of super-warm pants for future trips...

Ate dinner with Raf and his mum and so was a bit over on cals, but only about 150 over so no big tears. I'll be ramping up the cal deficit over the next few weeks with more cardio and lifting...
