I'm sorry because this one might be an odd question but where do I find Whey Protein? I've been told that Whey Protein is the best supplement but I don't know where to find it - do I buy it in stores or in certain foods?

Thank you

The one that most people purchase here is from All the Whey. You can order it online at www.allthewhey.com (the chocolate one seems to be the most popular!)

If you don't want to order it online, you can find whey protein at most healthfood stores or sports nutrition stores.

Stores like WalMart sell it, but stay away from there. That was they first Whey I bought and I really had a hard time swallowing it. That stuff was gross.

I use AllTheWeys chocolate blend and I love this stuff  . I use it for shakes and power bars.

You can get to All The Whey by clicking on the banner at the top of this site.

I love All The Whey and it is so easy to order and it is half the price of anything decent I found in the stores. My regular flavors are Chocolate (which I use about twice of of the other flavors--but chocolate has caffeine (and they use good quality chocolate--it tastes like Dutch chocolate--but I don't know for sure) and it keeps me up at night, so I can't have it after about 2:00PM ) and Strawberry, Vanilla and Banana.

I love them all and I have the Chocolate and Banana Meal Replacers as well that I keep in my office for when I don't get access to a healthy meal.

I just haven't tried the orange but I probably will on my next order. Plus they sell samplers at very little cost so you can try them.

Now I would love to hear what kind of protein bar, Joecan, you make: I use AllTheWeys chocolate blend and I love this stuff . I use it for shakes and power bars.

I am so sick of Atkins advantage and its high fat and all the others I know use sugar in them.

Justitia,

I found the recipe on this site, but here it goes:

1 cup of oatmeal (I use Rice Krispies instead, its the crunch)
16 ozs of natural peanut butter
8 tbls of honey
6 scoops of chocolat whey

mix together. You will probably have to add a little water. I spread it out in a rectangular cake pan that has been sprayed with non-stick stuff (can't remeber what it is off hand? :o ). I put it in the refrigerator and cut it into 12 pieces.

For variety I will add raisins and sometime increase the rice krispies to 2 cups(there is something about the crunch that I love). I don't have the complete breakdown with me at work. I will post it Tuesday.

These help with my urges for sweet food. I have at least one a day and I stay away from other candy and such with very little problem.

Waht a great idea!

But I might try to add sucralose as a sweetner instead of Honey. I get riggered by Honey and I end up eating more.

Thanks! ;)

Heh I am just starting out on a diet/workout plan trying to loose some weight. I bought the Whey from Wal-Mart and gotta agree this stuff is nasty. I will prob go ahead and finish it off but I think I will deffinately be getting the All The Whey next time.

Nasty tasting is too nice of a description. If you bought the vanilla whey, don't wait until it is empty to order from All The Whey. Order their Chocolate Blend and than mix the two. It makes the vanilla whey from Wal-Mart go down so much better.

I bought the chocolate. It was funny because when I first opened the container I thought "WOW this stuff smells just like hot chocolate mix. It can't taste too bad!"

Then I tried it...
