I sweat a lot. I always get pit stains (no smell) and I am sick of it. I have tried so many anti-perspirants, it's ridiculous. I'm currently using Right Guard Extreme. Wondering if any other sweat-prone guys have any recommendations.

I'm currently using Right Guard Extreme.
I use that with good luck. You might want to try Degree--I noticed that kept me really dry as well.

Trim your pits. Hair insulates, causes more sweating. You get used to it quickly. I'll second the use of Degree. Works like a champ.

Degree does a decent job as an anti-perspirant, but as a deodorant, it sucks. Old Spice and Axe anti-persp/deodorants definitely keep you smelling the best, but they sure don't stop my sweating.

Maybe I'll just double-layer... Degree anti-p for the sweating, Old Spice deodorant for the smell.

i agree to trim those pits. i cut mine every few weeks to almost nothing. you do get used to it very quickly and it makes a huge difference. i am willing to bet that every deodorant will work differently for different people so experiment. i also find that if i use the same one every day it becomes less effective. i always have at least two and sometimes three that i use. i never use the same one more than three days in a row.

Arm and hammer gel...works everytime I use it. Used to use right guard and sweat like crazy (I am italian) Give it a try. I have also heard that rotating 2 or 3 different anti-persps is effective as was mentioned by badgolfer.

I use Arrid XXX, it is bullet proof. It is sometimes hard to find, but NOTHING works as good as this stuff. At least for me...

Degree - I use a lot, swipe it like 8 times each pit. :)

I am a HUGE fan of Right Guard Sport with the Power Strip. Smells great and keeps me nice and dry. YMMV though.

If you sweat a lot and you don't want to cut the nerves to your sweat glands or taking drugs with a plethora of respective side effects doesn't entice you either, then use Certain Dri.
Go here and search for certain dri.
http://www.drugstore.com/
Basically, use that stuff a couple of times per week after you shower and your pits are dry. Don't put on broken or reddened skin or you will be hurting for certain. This is the stuff that you get before getting a prescription antiperspirant Drysol (stronger) or Xerac (a little bit more dilute but could keep Bobcat Goldthwaite from staining a grey shirt.)
I use it, Certain Dri, about once per week now and use a regular deoderant and antiperspirant, Degree on a daily basis. I used to use it more frequently, but need it less now.
Also read this page here, please. http://healthlink.mcw.edu/article/955656620.html
Basically, your sympathetic nervous system is on overdrive. There isn't much you can do about that. The drugs that are prescribed have side effects and can range from paxil or elavil to anticholinergics. You could also have a disease such as lymphoma, malaria, or diabetes. The most common seems to be diabetes.
This link states it better, but mispells anticholinergics. :)
