I think what you've accomplished is very inspirational for many people including me. It has inspired me to accomplish my fitness goals after being a sloth for most of my life. I was thinking that adding forums to your fitness page would be a good idea, and lo and behold they were added within a week! I was inspired to start my own fitness program on the 19th of January from what you've accomplished. Anyway, keep up the good work, John!

As a great motivator once said....you are a disgusting fat body! Think that to yourself when you look in the mirror. It will help you lose weight quicker

Hi Cuda,

Thanks very much, I'm glad you found the site and have started your program!

Contrary to what Jdubmeister suggested in his post, I think you should focus on the positive aspects of what you are doing. Negative thinking has a way of breaking you down, while positive thinking will help you through the tough times ahead (what you are doing is not easy!) Be proud of yourself for making some difficult changes, and don't ever give up.

Don't forget, it takes time and commitment! Be committed to take the time and your results will end up where you want.

It always helps to envision your goals for your end result, your day's workout, and even the set you're about to perform.

I'd also like to point out that taking a daily photo of yourself is a HUGE inspiration- it's irrefutable evidence of what you look like now- there's no kidding yourself. I have tried getting in shape before, but never took photos to track my progress. It makes a big difference. And no you can't see, they're still dang scary.
