Thought someone might get a kick out of my costume... and I always like to see others. I must say I think I was pretty spot on.

Made my day actually. Yeah I've been bulking. My stomach is also bigger than I'd like it though!!!! Thinking about cutting fat here soon, have not decided yet. Seriously though, thanks a lot guys! :d_smile: PeteBDawg November 1st, 2004, 03:37 PM For some reason I thought you were really old...didn't you say that you were elsewhere? Maybe it's that you're well spoken :) If I did, I guess I meant it facetiously. People often think I'm a lot older than I am (always have), but I'm only 24. Back before I lost weight, if you asked people in person, they'd often peg my age around 30 - still not old, but a bit older than I actually am. My mom also looks really young for her age, and I have four younger sisters, including one who's only 13 now, for whom I've always been a bit too much of a father figure for my own good. People in stores always used to think they were my wife and kids rather than mom and sisters, which was pretty embarassing. Of course, whenever I go shopping with a girl, everybody assumes I'm her husband, and that I robbed the cradle to boot. Girls I date also seem to quickly assume we're married, but that's another matter not appropriate to this forum  I have a sort of grizzled disposition from time to time, I admit it. My voice adds to the effect, as does my taste in literature. And I do love old-timey eating and exercise options, like sardines and calesthenics. I'd probably lift with kettlebells if I had access to them. I guess I'm just so old school, it predates compulsory education. At any rate, thanks for the compliment on my writing style :tucool: Luke.S November 1st, 2004, 03:50 PM Great thread idea! Here we are, my dog Zack and myself. I started going gray at 17 and started losing my hair at 24. My wife is 5 years younger than me and people have told her that it was nice that her father tok her out to eat. My kids have been asked, when they were younger, why their grandfather came to something and not their dad. I have put up with this for more years than you are alive. If someone says something to me about it, I reply, "God blessed me with such a big brain that he had to do something so people wouldn't cry about being completely left out." This usually shuts people up. Of course I don't do this to people I know and are joking around with, I just tell them that women find older men sexy, i.e. Sean Connery, Richard Gere, etc... It's always good for a few laughs). All of you guys look great. You can tell that all of your hard work is paying off. For people like me, it gives us something to look forward to. :claplow: ShadowPenguin November 1st, 2004, 10:03 PM You guys kick butt, thanks! Made my day actually. Yeah I've been bulking. When I first started working out I was like 14 and didn't know jack. All I did was like 1 set of bench press, 1 set of curls, and that's it. I did that like every day for a couple years. :) I think that did a lot for my forearms somehow. Too bad it didn't help my chest. :) Then every arm day in high school football-weights class, while everyone else was leaving the gym, a friend and I both did 2 sets of wrist curls. We'd look at the clock and try to do as many as we could for 60 seconds. May sound like a dumb training technique but it might have attributed to my forearms... Well that and genetics! BTW Rotties kick butt. I've been looking at getting another pup soon, looking at either Rottie, Doberman, German Shepherd (mom has one, I love them) or Cane Corso. paranouei November 2nd, 2004, 05:38 AM Great thread! I had to borrow a buddy's sword later to complete the outfit. :) Flying Snow from the movie Hero http://maggiewang.com/photos/albums/blog_archive/P1010802b.jpg http://maggiewang.com/photos/albums/blog_archive/P1010799b.jpg vatechguy February 19th, 2005, 11:27 AM Awesome costume Maggie! The kids are just adorable. DeafNgari, anyone tell you, you look like Colin Ferrel, consider being Bullseye from Daredevil next year (all's you need is a target on your head). He was the best character in that movie. beautiful costume, maggie. did you make it? In order to get a "cheap kimono", my wife ended up sowing her own out of white cloth. Looks like you guys go all out vatechguy. I love Halloween! This past year my wife and I we're a combo from resident evil 2. She was Milla jovavich's character and I was one of the undead. Specifically an ex-KFC worker. Sorry this is so gross http://www.geocities.com/brian_r_tull/zombie_01.jpg The funniest part was getting from our apartment to the party we were going to. We stopped in Mcdonalds: http://www.geocities.com/brian_r_tull/zombie_02.jpg After that we had to take the bus, and I ended up making a little girl cry. Not my proudest moment. mmm hand.... http://www.geocities.com/brian_r_tull/zombie_03.jpg Freeze! http://www.geocities.com/brian_r_tull/ruby03.jpg the happy couple http://www.geocities.com/brian_r_tull/both01.jpg Jaybird February 19th, 2005, 04:49 PM This is my Halloween crowd. I was Franz (and here to pump you up). Others were a Harley dude, two Hobbits, the bearded lady, and Super Mario. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v488/hodgjy/Picture001Medium.jpg Justitia February 20th, 2005, 08:03 AM Well, since Gravityhomer and I brought up Halloween costumes in the other thread today, here's what I wore for Halloween 2004.
