Yesterday my roommate and I hiked up to the top of Grey Rock Mountain here in Colorado. Grey Rock's summit is only 7900' above sea level and you start at 5600' so it's not too bad of a hike but it also offers an incredible view.

The trail we took was about 6 miles total. It took us 2 hours and 20 minutes to go from the parking lot to the summit which was decent given how out of shape I am. Today my knees are pretty much useless and my legs are sore but it was worth it.
My roommate has climbed 9 of the 54 14ers in the state so this hike wasn't too bad for him. Hopefully next spring/summer I can go with him on a few as he continues on his goal to climb all of them.
