Anyone able to tell me if this is a temporary (no money for a week or two) substitute for a protein shake? I'm an ectomoroph, not bulking hardcore...just trying to gain a little bit of muscle but people are telling me to eat like crazy. 117 lbs at 5'10. Normaly take about 1 cup of EAS Myoplex Deluxe shake with milk, banana, and peanut butter mixed in totalling at about 25g protein a shot.

Is this nutrition bar an ok replacement for the time being?

Total carbs: 28g

Not the best, but it's got some protein which can help. It's kind of like a candy bar but healthier...not big on the idea of eating "sweets" per se but I don't think it will hurt my progress? It's called "Shape Up" put out by Dr. Phil who I can't stand, but my dad picked about about 30 of them for 10 cents a piece on a promotional deal...any ideas? Thanks.
