Does anybody have any suggestion on good protein bars. I have tried a few... I liked some of them. Checking to see if you guyz have any suggesstions. I find it difficult to have the required amount of protein per day... being in a full time job that starts pretty ealier, I dont have enough time to nutritional snacks between means. Protein bars would be good way of supplmenting.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciate. Let me know.

If you're going by numbers, Tri-o-plex bars are very good, least amount of saturated fat (2g) based on size bar (100g), they all have either 5 or 6 grams of fiber, and a 50/50 split between carbs & protein, but obviously one of the bright sides is that they come from whole grain oats.

Well, as long as the carbs aren't an issue:

Their "Elev8 Me!" bars are good, as long as you like the taste of raisins as a sweetener (the chocolate one tastes like ground up chocolate-covered raisins). 18 grams of whey protein, 8 ingredients in total (all of which are identifiable), unbaked and entirely sweetened and held together by pureed dried fruit. Each 'bar' is actually three little protein cookies, so you can evenly portion it out into 3 little snacks if you want. Also, because they're sweetened with dried fruit, they have a great deal more fibre than other protein bars.

I need to find out the GI numbers for the dried fruits, although I remember some of them being reasonable... It'd be nice to know that something sweet isn't necessarily 'bad carbs', for once.
