View Full Version : Oh man I changed
paranouei October 25th, 2004, 05:32 AM I was looking at some old pictures, and then I discovered how much I changed... The first picture is from March, just when I joined the gym (the bag I was carrying is my gym bag). The last picture is from this friday (22nd October).
I feel great now :tu: :tu:
guava October 25th, 2004, 06:35 AM You look a little puffy and tired in the first photo, and even though you're not smiling much in the second, you look happier and healthier. Wonderful. :D
fujo October 25th, 2004, 07:04 AM Your face looks much thinner. Great job!

simon.karlsson October 25th, 2004, 10:55 AM you can see much more definition in your face, and also the body, do you have any photos without clothes?, not nude, just top off?. keep it going, youŽll be perfect in any week from now :)

I posted pictures in June without clothes (well with some clothes on :D ). Unfortunately in July I injured my shoulder and that kept me two months without training, so I gained some fat. Now I've been training for one month and I'm doing some good progress. I look now like in June, so you can check that thread. This is the link: http://forums.johnstonefitness.com/showthread.php?t=6090
Anyway I'll post updated pictures soon :tu:

Yeah, definitely, now I am more concious about my looks, that's another change in my life.
So I put all my crappy-old-huge-ugly-dark clothes in one bag, and started buying new small fit shiny clothes :tu:. Last saturday I bought a really tight shirt, size S (small), I wore it saturday night and girls were staring at me :D, I love that feeling, and when you think about it, what do you prefer, the feeling of eating junk food, or the feeling of being looked by girls?? :tucool:
tensdanny October 26th, 2004, 12:47 PM definitely the girls. what does your diet look like?
escher October 26th, 2004, 01:35 PM From the picts it definitely looks like you have lost more weight since June. You're looking real slimmed down! :tu:
Getting the 'looks' from the ladies is nice isnt it! Congrats!
paranouei October 27th, 2004, 04:28 AM definitely the girls. what does your diet look like?
Well, a tipical day is:
8:00 1 Cup (uncooked) of oatmeal with 1 banana, shaked no fat milk and cinnamon, a la "John Stone recipe" (but without the sweetener). I actually put the oats on the freezer for 10 minutes after cooking them, to eat them cold, I love it.
11:00 1 "pitufo integral" (a small piece of whole bread, around 80g), with turkey, and a coffee.
14:00 I buy a frozen bag of vegetables with chicken, or other precooked healthy foods (I'm at work, I just put them on the microwave). Some times instead of vegetables I buy a can of cooked lentils, or "garbanzos" (chickpeas) with veggies, and I throw some turkey. Other meals I do are a frozen bag of rice with spinachs, or chinese style rice. They are all precooked, but I checked the calories and ratios and I think they are ok.
17:00 100 or 140 grams of turkey (3 or 4 slices), and a pear.
If it's Monday, Wednesday or Friday, I go to the gym at 18:00, so at 19:30-20:00 I get home and have a protein shake. Then I have a shower, and I cook the dinner (salad with 2 cans of tuna and turkey, or vegetables with chicken, or fish and vegetables). Sometimes I have an omelette with 3 whites and 2 yolks with that.
23:00 or 23:30 (not always), I have no fat cheese with almonds, and a tablespoon of flax seed oil.
I stopped counting calories in summer, but I used to eat around 2000 calories with a 40-40-20 ratio (c-p-f). Now I don't count calories , but I have the same eating habits so I think I'm having around those calories.
The more interesting thing is that I injured my foot running around 4 weeks ago, and I'm still losing weight now without doing any cardio at all. Just with diet & weight lifting. Should I be worried or should I keep this way until I hit a plateau and then start with cardio??
dbartley October 27th, 2004, 10:22 PM That is a true transformation!!
In the before photo, you look, well how should I say...um nothing special at ALL!
But, you look amazing now. I better keep this photo from my wife!

Nope. Dont be worried at all. Im a great believer in lifting yourself thin, and a good intense workout will burns cals, and has the bonus of burning cals AFTER your workout, which is an advantage over cardio. I believe Jeremy did a cut without cardio once.
