Hi, im a newbie here

Have been reading the boards for about a week or so and have gained alot of new ideas and inspiration for my new years workout resolution. So thanks for that.

I was wondering - and i guess this is aimed at people located in the UK - could anyone recommend a good dumbbell set. I was thinking of going with these (http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&langId=-1&catalogId=1751&productId=94566&Trail=C$cip=12298>C$cip=12331>C$cip=12334&categoryId=12334) from Argos. However, i would love to hear from anyone with better suggestions.

Cheers.

I would go for something that you might build up to around 30 kilos. You will find those easy after a while. Specially chest and back workouts.

I have dumbells very similar to those, and I like them because I can just buy some heavier plates and still use them, instead of buying tons of solid dumbells. Its a bit of a pain to change them out all the time, but the savings in money is worth it.

I haven't found it to be too big of a problem. It just gives me something to do during the 60-90 sec. rest between sets. ;)
