Stumbled upon this site a few weeks ago, and it has really turned me on to being more in shape and fit. I played football as a center all through highschool, so I developed quite a bit of muscle mass, but was also allowed to eat whatever i damned well pleased to bulk up - which is fine when you are doing practice everyday for 5 straight months, but now at college, i have somewhat slacked a bit. I have continued to eat like I am still in football and worked out only to "maintain", if you could call it that.
skip to the present: I have decided to really make a big effort to lose fat, reveal the muscle that is there, and generally look good. But the only real obstacle in obtaining this is the food situation here at college. I dont know any of the caloric amounts of the food available, and most of the food consists of pasta and fried foods...I have been trying to concentrate on eating whatever protein source they serve, and keep the carbs to a low...Also at certain dorms on campus they have a make it yourself sandwhich bar- I usually put 2 slices of ham and turkey on toasted wheat bread with a lil mustard and 1 slice of cheese. What I am getting at is, is this any kind of way to go about fat loss? I have read many other posts giving all kinds of recipes and times to eat them but, I neither have the time to eat them at the designated time, nor can I make them...
any input would greatly be appreciated
