Emilio October 22nd, 2004, 01:18 AM thanks again guys!! These last few days have been pretty hard on me and I've been stuck in a bit of a rut but these comments keep me going. Every time I read one it makes me want to push harder and faster than ever and show the world that I have what it takes to be who I should be.
thank you again!

zoomzoom November 1st, 2004, 09:36 PM keep going man and don't you dare stop....your change helps to motivate people like me and others trying to drop a large amount of weight....GOOD JOB MAN AND KEEP BEING POSITIVE.!!!!!
Emilio November 2nd, 2004, 02:00 AM Thanks for the support! I just take it every 5lbs at a time. When you focus on a little part of the big task it makes it much easier than thinking about the total loss you are looking forward to... which for me is 75lbs!

Reno_1ted November 2nd, 2004, 09:03 AM Great work !!!
Its funny how your wishing your arms would drop some BF, yet most people say the same about there midsection ! Goes to show how bodies work in different ways.
Keep it up, thanks for sharing. :)

George November 2nd, 2004, 06:38 PM Great job! Sometimes I forget how losing 25 pounds of fat can make someone look so much better.
Emilio November 2nd, 2004, 10:02 PM Thanks again guys.. I am getting closer and closer to my "down 30 by thanksgiving goal" I know I will make it with tons of time to spare so its all good. I think I'll take some more pics tommorow morning after Aikido and lifting. Now its time to lift..
thanks for the motivation!
Emilio
taffer November 3rd, 2004, 02:59 AM good work! i wish my gut would shrink like that :)
Emilio November 3rd, 2004, 03:16 AM I wish my damn popeye forearms (pretty much the only part of my body I really.. HATE) would shrink some... But trust me I am more than happy to see my midsection go.

what has been your time frame on all of this. Awesome progress but how long has it took. that is really truly amazing. good job
Emilio November 3rd, 2004, 04:17 AM wow ton of posts tonite (you guys and gals staying up watching the election too?). Anyways the timeframe from first pic to most recent is from August 27th to October 19th. Not all that much really has changed since the last picture for me. My arms are showing some improvements along with my shoulders. I actually have defined muscles on my calves now and not big lumps! I am shooting for 30lbs (about 3 or so lbs more to go if that..) down by the time I leave for thanksgiving break. Out of curiosity are you cutting? If so how is your progress coming along?
- Emilio
Chris November 3rd, 2004, 04:47 AM thanks guys!! I guess I'm not the only one who noticed that I was losing it in the midsection first. I really wish my arms would get leaner quicker though. It'll come in time I guess.
thanks for the support!
Emilio
You should be happy that the weight is coming off the midsection  that's generally the hardest place to lose fat for us guys, keep up the good work
Emilio November 3rd, 2004, 11:16 AM got some new pics.. took them right after Aikido... Then had the best cheat meal ever... a lumberjack slam... I haven't had something this bad in a very very long time. Going for a walk soon and I'll get those pics up when I get back in. Oh by the way I hit my goal today. 225lbs!!! (after my cheat meal too) Holy shit.. sorry for the language but you have to understand I haven't been this weight in like oh.... 4 years or more. I'll have to check with my doctor when I go home and get a full checkup/blood workup. I guess my unscheduled cheat meal was well deserved. I will get new measurements up tonite too I think. Aug 19th - Nov 3rd = 30lbs lighter!!!
HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

The_Jackel November 27th, 2004, 07:13 PM wow!! judging from the pics you've made brilliant progress. if you keep this up you'll be a monster in no time :)
p.s. if you dont mind me asking, whats your ethnicity ? just intrested :)
Emilio November 27th, 2004, 07:35 PM thanks man! I am down a lil bit from the last time i took pics but then again thanksgiving and some bad eating as of late(on break) might have stalled my progress.. we'll see on monday when I hop back on my scale at school. Anyways.. I am curious what you think my ethnicity is so take a guess. Here is a hint.. I am not hispanic/hawaiian/or eskimo (I get those 3 constantly)...oh and I am 2 different things.
- Emilio
The_Jackel November 27th, 2004, 07:44 PM err difficult, i was thinking hispanic ;) ummm... 2 different things...
guess (dont laugh): 1/2 - cuban, 1/2 - portuguese
am i right ?
Emilio November 27th, 2004, 07:45 PM Oh sorry... you don't win the new sports car..
I'm half thai and half italian..
but you do get this wonderful dinette set!!!
The_Jackel November 27th, 2004, 07:48 PM lol.. it was a good try ;)
ara2003 November 27th, 2004, 08:52 PM Nice job. Looking Great!
John Stone November 27th, 2004, 08:58 PM Wow, you're doing fantastic, Emilio!
Congrats on the 30 pound marker - you are looking real good man! I love to see that proud smile that only comes after lots of hard work. :D
Keep it up! :tu:
Emilio December 7th, 2004, 05:07 AM Thanks John and everyone else! It means alot to hear all these great comments. Going home over break was really nice because EVERYONE was amazed in the changes that I made and it has really helped me keep that drive that is so important. I have lost 6-8lbs + or - since those last pics. I am going to take my measurements/new pics tommorow as soon as I wake up. I really think I can hit my preliminary goal of 210lbs by new years day. Then after that I only have 30lbs to go to hit my goal weight of 180lbs! At that point I'll take a good look at myself and decide how much lower I want to go.
thanks everyone!
Emilio
aaaaaa1 December 7th, 2004, 07:52 AM Good work! You look much much better now!
inurb December 7th, 2004, 09:44 PM Dude the fat is melting off!!!!!
Keep going your doing great! :tu:
analogue December 8th, 2004, 11:17 AM Dude, major progress! Those drastic changes make you feel like a new person.
Keep it up!
Emilio December 15th, 2004, 01:19 AM Very true analogue. I feel like a whole new person. Between the weight loss, increased muscle mass(or visible mass perhaps..), and smoke free life I am feeling outstanding. I truely wish I would have done this years ago. If only I had known! To think if I started a few years back I would already be at the 200lb mark perhaps even lower! Hell by now I'd be a monster! Oh well I guess I have a whole bunch of things to look forward to. Anyways thanks again for the support! I definately need to update my pics and measurements on mybodycomp. I think I will do that tommorow(yes, I know I say this EVERY time I post).

Emilio December 15th, 2004, 11:32 AM Anyways enough rambling and onto the new pics. Took these this morning. Still sitting pretty at 214-215. Been a bit lax as of late but I'm gonna step it up a notch and hopefully hit my goal of 210 by New Years Day.
New Pics!!! (http://photobucket.com/albums/v365/paintballny/Emilio%20Version%202/December%2015%2004/)
PS - is there a way to change the title of the thread? I want to change it to "40lbs later.." or "Make that 40lbs"
reanimated838uk December 15th, 2004, 12:18 PM just go to the first post.. and click edit, change the title there.
EDIT: ignore this. Doesnt work
Emilio December 17th, 2004, 11:15 PM yeah I tried that earlier but it didn't work.. I'd just rather change the title of this thread than start a new one.
reanimated838uk December 18th, 2004, 07:12 AM Try PMing John, sure he'll change it for ya.
Emilio January 12th, 2005, 07:59 PM down to 213.. going to clean up my diet (no alcohol) till I hit 200lbs.
