The Rules:


1. Update pics every other monday mornin(2 weeks). :cool:

2. Food logs every weekday. :drool:

3. Take measurments every monday morning. :nod:

Ok. Looks like I'll start.

None yet, as we didn't get this organized until this morning.

3. Measurements
Waist - 72.5 cm
Chest - 85.5 cm
Bicep - 30 cm
Thigh - 48 cm
Weight - 130 lbs
(all measurements taken first thing this morning)

As is shown in my measurements, I'm just too skinny. I joined this challenge to try to bulk up and get some meat on my bones. I hope I can stick with it, and win or lose, I hope I make an improvement and continue on that path. I'm the white guy by the way.

Heres todays food log. I'm running out of food at home so I had to make a few unhealthy choices. Going grocery shopping tomorrow hopefully.

Food log, day 1:

8:30 AM - 2 slices of orowheat wheat bread (low carb, i don't have anything against carbs, i just like the taste) with 2 table spoons of smuckers jelly = 60*2 + 25*2 = 170

10:00 AM - 2 medium bananas = 220

12:00 PM - 2 turkey sandwiches with mustard (orowheat) and 6 slices of healthy select turkey (60*2) = 360

1:00 PM - 2 powerbar prias (peanut butter) = 220

3:00 PM - 1 snicker's marathon bar = 240

5:45 PM - salad (30) with 1 can of chicken of the sea tuna (60*3.5), anne's natural raspberry vinagerette (35), del monte canned corn(60*3.5), 2 sugar cookies (220) = 585

8:00 PM - Safeway select apple granola bar = 110

10:30 PM - 3 shots of Bushmills whiskey = 300

11:45 PM - 2 navel oranges (35*2) = 70

12:30 PM - 1 peanut butter sandwich (orowheat + safeway peanut butter 190) = 310

TOTAL: 2475

Workout = 200 pushups, 300 crunches, 3 miles in 19 minutes

today's meal log (planned in advanced for tonite, as well)

7:30 AM - 2 slices of orowheat and 2 tablespoons of peanutbutter (120+190) = 310

10:00 AM - 2 slices of orowheat and 6 slices of costco ham (100 calories) = 220

12:35 PM - 2 slices of orowheat and 6 slices of costco ham = 220

2:00 PM - 2 powerbar prias (110 each) = 220

3:30 PM - 2 cups of grapes (says 62 each cup, but not exactly sure) =
125

5:00 PM - 1 chinese packet of instant noodles with chinese bokchoy (packet says 230 calories and i'm not sure of bokchoy, but i'd guess 50? used 2 "flowers") = 270

7:30 - 2 grannysmith apples (60 each) = 120

9:00 - 1 cup of grapes = 62

10:00 - 5 shots of bushmills (friend's depressed, gotta take him out) 500

around 12:00 AM - 12 slices of ham and a redbull (110) = 310 (hangover prevention)

2:07 AM - 3 sugar cookies (120 each), 1 ice cream sandwich (240), 1 can of Stag Turkey Chilli (380) = 980 (got drunk)

total: 3337

3 miles, 21 minutes, arms/chest workout for 40 minutes

My weight as of monday was 130 lbs exactly.
Body fat % I'm not sure how acurately I'm measuring with my calipers, but somewhere between 11% and 15%.

the last weekend wasnt my weekend... i scrapped my knee pretty bad... and it hurts when i run so im gonna stop runnin for a while 3 days more i hope.... i woke up late 2day and didnt have time to take measures, im gonna take em tomorrow monrin. :D

I switched my leg work out to chest work out... thats only for today hopefuly :confused:

Today i got my new cellphone from the mail... but they sent me the wrong battery... it wont even fit in it... that suckz... :(

oh welll..

I woke up with a sore throat and stuffy nose today :( Looks like I'm not gonna have that great of a week either.

I went ahead and did my workout anyway, going by the idea that if its above the neck, its ok, but below the neck I need to rest. I figure over the next few days I won't be able to do much of anything either, but I'll still try to hold to my eating plan.

Sorry I haven't been updating, been sick and haven't done much of anything, or ate much of anything. I'm going to try to eat more today, but I'm going to skip my workout cause I am still low on energy and havent gotten over my sickness completely yet.

I've been eating as much as I could despite being sick, but I didn't bother to log it because I didn't feel well enough to write it down and measure everything. I did my friday workout though. I'm almost back to full health right now, and will be back on track come monday for sure.

ate 3350 calories yesterday.

but since then, my progress has been kind of slow this week, due to increasing injuries. maybe sitting on my butt will help me gain some much needed weight.

couldn't count past 1400 calories because i ate ethiopian food last nite, a cookie and pretzel from the movie theatre, and ice cream on the way home! weighed myself this morning, was about 137, so i'm gainin' again! =) but i'm guessing, i must have consumed somewhere around 4000 calories!

gonna swim 35 minutes today (16*25, 3x), 300 pushups/situps, and probably walk 1 mile. have a stress fracture in the right foot, so it's difficult for me to run, but slowly it's been getting better.

woke up around noon today...

didn't do squat except buy a winter coat. ate some korean food, and am about to go drink beers. today was my day off, so i didn't do anything for exercise. stress fracture is hurting again a little bit, so i'm trying not to walk too much on it, although that's almost impossible.

going to swim tomorrow and workout the quads/calves and abs.

weighed 139 lbs this morning, but that was before the #2, and before i started eating.

hopefully, i'll be back in the 140s this week, and bulk up to 150s by the end of the month!

hope everybody else is doing well.

so far so good... ive gained 1cm on my biceps and tomorrow im gonna take measures again...

its just that ive been super busy... my car broke down and had to pay $450 to get it fixed... since i took a week off almost two from work my paycheck was super small...

i still need to pay the insurance and i need to pay my cellphone bill and cable bill :confused:.... im runnin out of food, being a college guy rules :p *yeah right*...

im out of bandwidth, so im gonna have to wait till the next paycheck to donate money to JSF that way i'll have more bandwidth....


Today i went to the gym around 10am worked out my chest and triceps for 1 hr... then at 7pm went to run 45mins :claplow:

I think tomorrow im gonna buy some lottery tickets :D

ooh well tomorrow will be another day :gl:

i had to work for like a week and a half 15 hrs each day... its good and it suckz... good cuz im gonna make a nice amount of $$$ for christmas.. and it sucked cuz i couldnt eat what i had to eat and i didnt go to the gym not even had time to run :confused:

oooh well...

also im out of bandwidth and food... im gonna have to wait till monday to get more bandwidth and food ... also im gona buy a digi cam...
