On July 12, I weighed 231 pounds (29% body fat, 164 pounds of lean body mass). Yesterday I weighed 198 pounds (21% body fat, 156 pounds of lean body mass). My diet is dramatically different. I lift 3 times per week and run 2-4 times per week. Should I be concerned about the drop in lean body mass?

I feel great and am really proud of the way I look, but want to keep this going in a positive direction.

According to your numbers you lost 8 lbs muscle 25 lbs fat.

My uneducated opinion I do not think that is a bad ratio.

From what I undertand you lift weights during the cutting phase to minimize muscle loss, so you wont lose the whole 33 lbs of muscle.(and it boosts your metabolism as well)

Sounds like your doing it right to me.
