I owe my new found motivation to all of you,
I have been reading articles in this site for sometime, trying to get motivated to get my fat @ss back in the gym, and on a healthy diet. I picked the name Mike_Diesel because that is what my co-workers used to call me back when I was a gym rat, upset at myself if I missed even 1 workout a month. 10 May 2003 I weighed 198 at 5"10 and was benching 275 for 8 - 10 and then there was the car accident. Since then I have been in a depressed, eat all you can, can't fit in my clothes, weigh in at 248 with a 42 inch waste, I don't care mode.
That has all changed because of seeing all of you succeed. I have just started my transformation and would just like to have some support to ensure I don't quit on myself. I have just completed day 3, I am using John's workout for fat loss, since I have considerably more fat to lose than he did, and it worked so well for him. 30 minutes of 75% cardio every morning and the same split for weights 3 times a day. Goal is to lose 2 - 3 pounds every 10 days until I get to a weight of 190 or so. I will keep this site updated with my progress. Any comments or suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks so much for all your support.
