Right....on Jan 2004 I started to diet and exercise as I was hitting 168lbs and at only 5ft 5in and age 22 I was a little overweight.

By the end of April I managed to get to 133lbs believe it or not! But since then have let things go! About 6 weeks ago I was nearly 160lbs so I started to train again and watched what I was eating.

I Weighed myself today at 146 lbs so i'm happy to get down a bit but i've got a long way to go. When training before I did little weights but now I'm doing weights 3 times a week and some cardio.

I don't have a pic of me at 133lbs or of me just now but I will post that up in this thread soon!

Any comment welcome.... thanks!

Thanks! :o

As I mentioned above... before I didn't really do much weights as I was more bothered about losing the weight and not concentrating on muscle. But now since I've joined this site i've realised that weight training helps the fat lose as well.

So now my goal is to get my bodyfat down to see any muscle definition that I'll hopefully gain since starting weights.

I'm not too bothered about what weight I get to as long as it's around 133 pounds and I get toned up more. I'll see what happens from there. :D

.........The_Jackel...Yes tattoo is real. Got it done shortly after I starting loosing some weight ... and I plan on getting more! Cheers!

.........TaxiTodd....My diet has been a yoyo over the past 10 months! I've tried every fad diet under the sun and I suppose some do work but the weight starts jumping back on! I probably lost the weight quickly through running and boxing training. I've started off this time just counting calories and using the 40:40:20 method of Protein,Carbs & Fat which sometimes i'm finding a little difficult.

The two pictures marked "147 pounds" are pretty different, I think. The second one is more muscular than the first, definately. So, you must have replaced some fat in the first for muscle in the second. Are you trying to lose or gain weight? Whichever, you're making good progress, good work, my friend, you look great. I would guess you feel great, too.

Awesome progress, man. I agree, the second set of 147 pictures, although being the same weight, look a lot better. The lifting must be working. Just keep it up. - Jeremy

Thanks for the comments! :D

I enjoyed reading all the supportive comments again to get me motivated. I had been slacking off the last few weeks before christmas! I seemed to be too busy to do anything.... started eating a bit more rubbish and then when I weighed myself after new year I was 156lbs!

That gave me a fright so I've been jumped back on the bike and got stuck into my weights again!

Now back down to 149lbs as of yesterday so It's slowly dropping again! I'm looking to cut down this year while obviously trying to build/keep some muscle. I still have plenty bodyfat to lose.. so, if and when I get rid of that and have toned up better, hopefully after the summer I can start a Bulk. Just need to see how things progress.

Thanks again! :jumping:

I got a loan of a camera to take some progress pics! :D

The last photo I had taken was a good while ago... then I put on about a stone at christmas and it took me a while to get back to 147lbs!! The weight soon started to move again then stalled for a few weeks. It started to fall again the 7 days and I weighed this morning at around 138lbs but I think my scales are a little on the light side so I've called it 140lbs! :p

Took these pics today! There might not seem like much progress but man do I FEEL like I've so much more muscle than I've ever had....it's just covered under a bit of fat!! :spaz:

Also my first pose!! He He

I've also changed my routine around a bit...;

Monday: Cardio: Boxing (45 mins), Bike, (30mins Bike)
Tuesday: Weight training: back, biceps & forearms
Wednesday: Cardio: Boxing (45 mins), Bike, (30mins Bike)
Thursday: Weights: chest, shoulders & triceps
Friday: Weights: legs, calves & Abs
Saturday: Cardio: Bike, (45mins Bike)
Sunday: Cardio: 4.5mile jog (45 mins) or Cycling (1-2 hours)

My diet has also progressed big time!! There's so much food that I don't eat anymore even though it wasn't that bad for me! I suppose you just have to learn over time what works for your body....especially when cutting!! ....and I'm sure I've still even more learning to come..... :read:

Hey...Just posting an update of pic I took today. I've been pretty off board the last few of months. Still been training but just not as much. I also stopped cutting and counting calories ...just ate what I felt like but not eating crap! I put a bit of weight on but not to bothered. :D

So I'm posting this to get back on track and hopefully get back to dedicated training. So Wish me Luck!............. :db: :bb: :flex:
