But it's a shaded band with stripes at the top and bottom. Inside the band are two "medallions". One contains a castle in Perpignan in the south of France, the other is the head of Michelangelo. in the photos you can just see the Michelangelo medallion, and on the right side of it, "IV". On the left side of the medallion is "MM". The Roman numerals "MMIV" = 2004. The band was done here in Atlanta in March. The medallions and the Roman numerals were done in April near Perpignan by a tattoo artist who understood zero English. My husband and I mark each major trip with a tattoo. This band is our Europe tats. His is almost the same as mine but he has the bust of Julius Caesar instead of Michelangelo and "MMIV" is under the bust of Caesar. andi October 27th, 2004, 01:57 PM Can't believe I forgot my picture yesterday! Oh well, here's today. I should probably mention weights when these photos are taken. The first one was 157.2, second was 156.4, today is 156.2. Granted I haven't been busting my ass, so they really don't look that different. I'm happy to have my change be more gradual- maybe then I'll stick with the healthy habits!!
