Hi!

I'm a new user here, I've looked around abit and I realize that this site is JUST what I'm looking for...

I'm 6.3 (188cm) and about 230lbs (113 kg), I'm Tall and broad shouldered, so most of the extra flab is the tummy and lovehandles.
I've always wanted to loose it, and at least get a flat stomach.

I jsut started training. I train three times a week. different musclegroups each day, day one arms and breast. Day two stomach, back and shoulders. Day three is for the feet.

Now I haven't started any kind of diet yet. I've got the book on The south beach diet, it looks ok, but any tips?
I have problems finding some of the ingrediens though (Sugar free syrup... what? )...

And GREAT SITE!

Welcome to the forums.

I assume that the metric measurements are the ones that you go by, since you are a neighbour of mine. To set things straight, 113 kgs is 248 lbs (1 kg=2.2 lbs, 1 lb=0.454 kg), and 188 cms is 6'2" (1 foot is 12 inches, 1 inch is 2.54 cms).

If you want my advice, don't do any fancy diets. Stick to proper nutrition, and eat sensibly. It's not hard if you put your mind to it, and do a little research on what to eat and not.

Aren't you doing any kind of cardio? If fatloss is what you're after you would want to include low intensity cardio a few times a week to burn energy (fat).

Good luck on your quest for a flatter stomach. Hope to hear about progress soon.
