I am seriously bummed.
I have been doing cardio 3-5 times a week and weights 2x week. I was doing weights 3x week until 2 weeks ago.
Since July when I started I have lost 6lbs of fat and gained 6lbs of muscle , according to mybodycomp. Weight hasnt changed at alll ,still 180.
Last week I noticed by left elbow was sore when I put it on the table. I thought I may have banged it and didnt give it a second thought. Then yesterday afternoon I actually looked at it and there is this small ball of semi-hard cyst like thing on the end of my elbow.
I freaked out ,eww! :p
I am going to make an appointment next week for the Dr to look at it but I think its a ganglion cyst. Its were a tendon tears and the fluid leaks out and makes a ball. It doenst hurt unless I put pressure on it.
Has anyone had something like this before. Its supposedly common for weightlifters and tennis pros among others.
Anyway since weights are out for the short term, I can still do cardio and do leg exercises.
My question is there anything I can do while I continue to cut to minimize muscle loss without lifting weights?
thx
