I have a problem....when I run, say 3 miles, my body reacts / responds in a weird way. For a day or two after a long run (that's long for me, I usually bike, but run 3 miles on a track once a week) I feel anxiety in my system. It makes no sense to me. I thought running was supposed to release stress and all that. But it makes me feel shaky and anxious. Does this happen to anyone else?

I don't know what to think about that. I guess try to harness all that anxiety back into fitness/running. Make sure it doesn't effect your health

I'm very confused too, but I started thinking that maybe it's because my caloric intake is low. Maybe I'm not eating enough. So I rechecked my diet today, and according to the Sticky that's posted in this forum, my BMR + mod. excersise = 3,200 cals. That's alot higher than I thought! Take away 500 cals, and I should be eating 2,700 cals per day, just to lose 1-2 lbs. Right now, I'm eating around 2000 - 2,200 cals per day. Maybe this explains the stall in progress that I reported a few weeks ago. My diet is around 45% carbs, 35% protein, 20% fat. I'm gonna add a cup of brown rice to my lunch, which is about 200 cals, and a tablespoon of flax seed oil in the morning, which is around 150 cals, and see what happens. Does this sound good to people? Any other suggestions on how to add 400 more healthy calories?
THanks yall :tucool:

are you taking any fat burners or drinking coffee/greentea before you run. Sometimes when I take those before hand, it can aggravate the amount of "shakiness/ anxiety" that I feel.
