I want to go out today and buy a eliptical machine as soon as possible. I have a Modell's and Sports Authority near me so I checked the websites of them and found a lot of different machines. I want to only spend $200 or less on this machine. I'm going to list all the links to the machines that fit my price range. I hope someone could give me feedback on which would be the best. Thanks

Modell's

Denise Austin Dual Action Elliptical $199.99

Spartan Magnetic Resistance Elliptical w/Tension Control $199.97

Spartan Sports Elliptical $179.99

Modell's and Sports Authority actually have the same machines and prices. I know this is my homework to be doing, I just want some helpful feedback on which would be the best. Thanks

hi james,

We just bought an elliptical this weekend. We found the Weslo 710 at Walmart for $194.43 we did some side by side comparisons with the cheap models and the more expensive ones also. We found that this model was relatively smooth and stable compared to the cheap models, but it wasn't quite a smooth as the $400 models. We thought that it was a good value for the price, and struck a happy medium between price and features. We are just starting out also, and after three times using it I can say that I'm relatively pleased.

In trying a lot of different ones, we found that there was a wide range of strides between models. The best thing to do it to go try them. That's really how we made our decision. There were some very expensive models that didn't feel very good to us. You don't want to buy something, then get it home and have it not feel good to you.

Good Luck!

FourMat, that elliptical looks good. I think I'll go to Walmart today.
