I am going to bulk to shock the system alittle for about 6-8 weeks. I'm going to keep my diet clean like I do with cutting, but only add more cals. What types of food do y'all recommend for sucess? I'd like to gain a few lbs. of muscle and then go back to cutting afterwards and hopefully have more sucess after gaining more muscle....
Thanks

also, I forgot to ask above...what other supplements would you recommend for muscle gain that are safe. I already take 2 scoops of Designer Whey....
How about ZMA? Is that safe and useful?
Thanks

I guess I'm reluctanct to take any creatine maby - it kind of scares me. doesn't it really dehydrate you and give you cramps? once you decide to come off it, what happens?
thanks for the other info too! :tu:

anyone?
Nothing happens to me.. I'm only on creatine for a short while though.
First five days I take five grams five times a day (adds up to 20). Then the following 3-4 weeks I take 5 grams a day. Then I just quit using it for a couple of weeks so that my body gets back to normal again and then I start my cycle over again.

Some types of creatine and brands have given me the poops for the first week or so, but it has always gone away after no longer than 2 weeks.
I have not read anything about it dehydrating you, but I know the monohydrate has a reputation for making you bloated. When you go off it the bloatedness can subside, which means you lose bodyweight kinda fast I guess.
I wouldn't be scared of it if I were you. Of course get your diet and training and rest and all that in check first. Then maybe you can experiment with creatine (or other supplements).
