I have a bunch of that raw frozen shrimp and I wanted to know some good tasting ways to prepare them.

I usually fry them in butter, sesame oil, and crushed or chopped fresh garlic. I know that butter and oil isn't good for a diet, but I figure that shrimp is so low in calories that as long as I only use a little I can spare it for a little extra flavor. I'd like some variety on how to cook them.

I like to marinate fresh deveined shrimp that still have the shell for about 30-45 minutes before I BBQ them. Here is one of my favorite marinades:

1/4c Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 Tsp Lime Zest
1 Tsp Fresh grated Ginger or 1/4 Tsp Ginger Powder
1 Tbsp Dark Sesame Oil
2 Tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1-2 Tbsp Chopped Cilantro
Red Pepper Flakes

Mix all ingredients together. Put the shrimp in container and dump the marinade on (I use a ziploc bag) Make sure the marinade covers the shrimp completely.

Grill them until pink and eat up. If you want to cook them in the frying pan you can take the shells off before cooking. Leaving the shells on for BBQing makes it so they don't stick to the grill and they have a little better flavor.

Enjoy

I boil mine and eat it with a tiny bit of cocktail sauce.

That's sort of what the whole recipe forum is, though, right?
