Hey, one question.
When doing deadlifts I'm typically fine when using a weight that I used during a previous workout. However, whenever I increase the weight (usually by 5 or 10 pounds), when I reach the end of my rep range in my second or third set (10 to 12 reps), I'll feel this tingly feeling in my lower back and that will immediately mean the end of my deadlifting session, whether its on the second or third set. I just stop there for safety. After I finish my Leg/lower back workout for the day I stretch and my back feels completely fine. The next day it feels as it should after any leg/lower back day. It feels a bit sore but not injured. When I work out the next time I'll use the same weight that gave me the tingly feeling and I'll usually be able to make 12 reps on most of my three sets, so my back is obviously recovering and growing some good muscle.
Is this tingly feeling normal or should I try to avoid it by going for slightly lower weight and higher reps (maybe 15?). I work at a liquor store and will move fifty or so kegs during a weekend shift and probably carry hundreds of thirty packs every couple days. It's pretty tough on the body. In other words, I use my lower back A LOT and don't have any problems with it, even on lower back tingly feeling days or the day after.
Thanks for opinions in advance!
