I can't incline my bench for incline bench press enough b/c the rack that my barbell sets on isn't tall enough. I CAN incline it some, but if I incline it anymore, it's very awkward getting it off of the rack. Any suggestions? Am I getting a good enough incline press work out?

any incline is different than no incline, but if you can get it to 30 degrees or so that's all good. might be time for a new bench/rack if possible

What bench/rack did you get?

It's one from Hibbett Sports. Its not a high dollar piece of equipment but I think it will get the job done. I haven't gotten it yet. I'm going by there again today to take a second look at it. If I don't like it after all, I'll get one from Academy Sports.

On the weight bench, to do sqauts, you turn the (I don't know what they're called) the things that hold your barbell if you were doing bench press, and there are extenders on the opposite side. So when your through doing squats, you set the barbell on those extenders. I wish I could should you picture of it but Hibbetts has no picture.

First, have you heard of this before and if so, do you think it's worth getting?

thanks

i have a similar bench, but mine is made by golds gym, the problem is there is nothing to spot you, aslo my lats lag due to no pullups/pulldowns

i ordered a powerrack and when i can afford it ill get a new powertec seperate bench and get rid of this one

my advice is to not waste your money and start off right the first time so your not having to upgrade later
