Hey guys and girls. I just purchased 5lbs of chocolate whey isolate from ATW and 10lbs of dex from kentnutrition. The final supplement I'm going to purchase now is a multivitamin. But after doing a whole bunch of searches and research, I've found myself lost :o . I just wanted to give you a quick background of my lifestyle/goals and whatnot, and maybe someone with a similar lifestyle can recommend a multi.

Goal:Cutting and maintaining muscle mass; hopefully even gaining some mass

Typical daily meals
700:Egg Whites and Lean Turkey bacon (post-cardio)
1000:1 1/3 cup of oatmeal with raisins and dried cranberries
1200:baby spinach salad (olives, tbsp olive oil, balsamic vinegar, chicken breast, broccoli, carrots)
200:1/4 cup almonds/cashews/walnuts
330ish (depending on when I plan on leaving work):oatmeal w/protein isolate powder
700ish:pwo:(protein isolate/dex w/water)
800:lean protein, sweet potatoes, veggies, rice (whatever mom cooks)
right before bed:cottage cheese and some atkins chocolate syrup (even though I dont know where to purchase it)

I lift 4 days a week (M-back,bis,forearms,abs;T-chest,tris,Th-legs,abs;F-shoulders)
Cardio at least 4x a week

Other than that, I'm home watching some sports or playing some video games or doing some yardwork on saturdays.

Let me know what you guys suggest

I like Opti-Men (http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/opt/men.html). There's a few others here that like this multi a lot too.

Compare the ingredients and %'s in our Super Vita Boost to any on the market. At a cost of $19.95 for a three month supply, I think we offer the best deal out there.

Personally since I take extra selenium, vitamin E and vitamin C to aid muscle recovery post workout, I look for something with not too much of these in. Also stuff like 'Korean Ginseng' puts me off. Makes me think I'm paying for something I don't need.

Also all this stuff with more that 100% of RDA seems overkill (like 20 times the RDA for thiamin?). My attutude is that is you specifially want to take much bigger does of a particular vitamin or mineral, take is seperately, it will probably be more effective anyway.

I take plain old 'Centrum'. The way I figure it is that I have a pretty good diet (looks like you do too) so even if I only absorb 25% of what is actually in the multivitamin it's probably a decent top-up in case I'm missing something.

Man, I just ordered from you guys last night (some dextrose) :o . I would've thrown that in the order too. Looking at the ingredients and percentages of both Optimen and Super Vita Boost, Optimen seems like it provides a better array/dosage of vitamins. But man, Kent provides the same price for 3 times the size (taking only 1 pill a day).

Quick question for both Optimen and Super Vita, are these time-released? Reading into that, I realized that those type of vitamins may be more effective.

Don't get your math mixed up there... the OptiMen is a 2 month supply and the Kent brand is a three month supply for the same price. Kent's is a better value, but is not the same price for three times the size.

I haven't tried the Kent brand multi, I'll have to give that a go on my next order! :tu:

You can go to the products section of our website, or you can also go here http://www.naturally.com/index.php?submenu=products&src=gendocs&link=Super%20Vita%20Boost&category=Products
That is the link to the product page on the Naturally Vitamins site. Naturally Vitamins developed the worlds first mega-multi vitamin, Super VitaBoost, over 30 years ago, and they have been improving on it ever since. Today it contains over 40 vitamins, minerals, nutrients, extracts, and herbs, along with their patented beta-glucan and Inuflora (bioactive inulin).

We don't sell this product because it is the cheapest vitamin we could find, it is not the cheapest. We sell it because we believe it is the best, and we bring it to you at a lower price than anyone else because that is what we are committed to do.

Compare the vitamin profile of the Vita Boost to Mega Man, Opti Man, Beverly, etc. You may find that you have been paying too much for your multi.

I use USANA Essentials myself (a brand I distribute as an independent associate with the company) ... IMHO the best multi out there. Not familiar with the others in this thread, but if they are pharmaceutical grade and adhere to GMPs as well as the USP guidelines for dissolution (USANA does all of this) then they are probably good contenders as well. As much as you can cut hairs on cost and ingredients, the power for me was the testimonials from the people who have been taking them and experienced dramatic changes in their life.
