I just wanted to share a few pictures of my home gym that I put together. Ever since I stopped working out a few years back, I put on 40 lbs. But coming to this website has inspired me to get control over my health and body. I began my training Jan. 18/04 @ 225lbs.
As of today, Feb. 8/04 I am down to 213lbs.

Good luck to everyone, and keep motivated :tucool:

Always nice to meet a fellow Powertec owner. :)

That's a great looking room you have there - makes me want to go lift right now! :tu:

Looks good. Much better than my cheap home gym.

Thanks for the comments. I wanted to make the gym very appealing in order for me to get motivated to work out. Therefore I decided to pull out all the stops on this build project, and I haven't looked back. :tu:

Nice looking gym! Curious how much for that contraption and if you find the restricted motion (compared to free weights) to restrict your growth at all?

Thanks MGB

The Powertec Multi Leverage Gym goes for roughly 900-1300 USD.
I have no complaints with it so far, I find it to be a very useful tool. My routine revolves around the use of the leverage gym and free weights. From my own experience, I find that if I strictly use machines or just free weights then I become restricted or limited to my growth and gains. The key for me is to constantly change things and have a wide range of variety in excercises. What I like most about the leverage gym obviously would be that I require no spotter. It is great to load up the weight and not worry for a spot at all. :tu:

Awesome setup!!!
I'm a devout Powertec, Body Solid man myself. Nothing better than buying stuff you know you'll have the rest of your life.
