Sometimes I bake, sometimes I use our grille.

Here are a couple of my favorite chicken recipes...

... sometimes when I'm pressed for time (which is a lot lately), I prepare them quickly, like this:

I put the breasts on a baking sheet, spray them lightly with Pam and then put spices like garlic powder, red pepper, black pepper and Italian seasoning on them (get creative). Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

john: have you ever considered getting a foreman grill(or one of the rip-offs) i reckon they are the greatest thing ever invented, my grill cooks a chicken breast in 6mins flat!
now thats fast protein! :D

I've thought about getting one, but since I work from home and prepare 4-5 breasts at a time at night I'm not too worried about how long it takes for the chicken to cook. My main concern is prep time since I'm often still working at 6:30 or 7:00 PM when it's time to take a quick break and start my dinner cooking.

Plus, I already have a billion kitchen gadgets/appliances and two grilles. Kitchen cabinet space is hard to come by here!

I find that the Foreman Grill cooks my breasts too well done on the outside, It kinda gets like a hard shell on the outside. But it still taste good.
I tried steaming a couple of breasts they turn out good, but the steamer bowl is very difficult to clean afterwards. I'll stick to Rice in the Steamer.

Yeah, you really have to watch overcooking on the George. Usually, it is the spices that burn on the outside. 6 min is hard to beat, but you can't beat the outdoor grill.

I throw my spices on the meat after it's cooked and it's still moist. The spices stick fine to it then.

sometimes my chicken gets a bit hard on the outside, not that often though, maybe its what your maranading it in, i just use lemon juice, with some paprika/curry/cayenne/herbs
throw it in the grill for 6mins and its done perfectly!
i also like eating my meat with a steak knife :D

Talking about chicken breast... is it the same to consume a boneless skinless chicken breast and consuming a boneless skinless other part of the chicken... let's say the thigh or wings. Or is it really needed to consume the breast part when it comes to lean part? Just being curious here... Thank you...
