I think posting progress on a web page is a good for accountability....wow, I haven't used html in about 5 yrs...it's coming back, though.

Anyhow...I would like to put a hidden hit counter on my site, but free ones seem hard to come by. I have tried several small unobtrusive ones (bravenet, etc.) but when I tried to place them on the bottom of the page, they killed my whole page! It's like they have to be place on top to work, but that is just ugly.

Anyone have any suggestions?
