Well Tuesday is the day. I head out to the University of Cincinnati to begin the next four years leading into my acting career.
Since I have so much crap to take up there, I need the JSF experts advice on what to bring on the 18 hour road trip. My mother and I both started fat loss programs (her's more on cardio mine more on definition) and we were curious about what is good to eat on the road, be it restaurants or pack along food. I suggested low sodium beef jerky, but we need more than that!
Any help is appreciated!

I suggest you pack your own food. That way you'll be in control of what you eat all the way. You could make it a cheat day so that you don't have to worry that much. Make sandwiches and keep them in a cooler. You can make all kinds of stuff with different breads and things to put on it. If you choose good bread and don't add too much butter and/or mayonnaise sandwiches could be a really good way to go.

I may be going against the grain here, but I would just pack some semi-healthy snacks and stop along the way to eat. It's one day, I promise you, eating off your diet won't hurt you, if anything, it might give your metabolism a boost.
Besides, you are already really low in body fat, so I'm sure one off day every now and then is just fine.

I always bring along a box of my favorite cereal for road trips. Otherwise, I'm tempted to buy chips, chocolate bars, and cookies. Eat at restaurants, but order small entrees without fries; take some fruit along with you to supplement your meals if you like.

In terms of stuff that wont destroy a diet that I bring... cereal like guava said as well as a cooler with some lunch meats and fixxins and good bread. I also bring beef jerky. If you get good jerky, it is high in sodium but otherwise a good snack.
